Just FYI - this was done for the game developers to help promote the '1999' update. It is not the version of the song that is actually in-game. That one has a more typical Boy Band sound. I really like the way VoicePlay gave this a more funked up bass line and beats while still keeping enough of the Boy Band 'style' to get the point across. As someone who was older than the target audience back in the '90s, I vastly prefer what VoicePlay has done over the original. This really slaps!
Thank you Cookie! Yes the boyband in the game got infected - and they look like the characters but the infected ones 😉. Looks like they had an awful lot of fun - now I want them to cover another boyband song 😆. 🌹🕊
The creators of Warframe contacted Voiceplay right after they released their version of Warframe's Sleeping in the Cold Below. They wanted to have Voiceplay do their own version of the new song coming with the update released December 13, 2024. Warframe provided some of the design elements, but the arrangement and production is all Voiceplay. I don't think they would have time to do the whole soundtrack and keep their Geoff, Voiceplay, and Pattycake productions going. That said, this song is just amazing!!
Thanks for this reaction to VoicePlay. Apparently the Warframe video game developers contacted VoicePlay quickly after they heard VP’s February 2024 release of "Sleeping in the Cold Below" (also from the Warframe game and also with Omar) about this opportunity. VoicePlay has done several tunes from video games. In this, they are the in-game '90's boy band, On-Lyne. So great that Warframe allowed VP to do this their way and to film at Pattycake. This cover and the Warframe 1999 game update both released in Dec. 2024. I'm not a gamer, but love it. I do believe that VoicePlay can cover anything.
Eli kills me with that metal scream. Love it! ❤
Voiceplay can do any period, any genre, any way. Love them! Thanks for your reaction.
Thank you for watching
Voiceplay can do it all! Amazing!

I am not a gamer, but I really liked this video. Voiceplay playing as On-Lyne from Warframe.

Respect for Warframe
Eli had a couple of high rock screams. Cesar and Omar sync well.
