Donna’s home is incredible! She was the first artist I became obsessed with as a little girl. I loved her, loved her music. I was heartbroken when she passed away. I can’t believe that it’s already been 12 years. I’ll never forget her. It’s such a treat to see her home and to visualize her here. Sing with the angels, Ms. Donna. ❤
This is an amazing mansion...so much space...the bathrooms are beautiful and the kitchen is amazing... beautiful property can't believe it's going to be demolished...what a waste some of us can only dream of living or owning something so amazing
So many things can be salvaged. Light fixtures, appliances, iron work like the staircase railing, even doors, windows, so much inside and out, what a shame.
Can’t understand why the house has to be demolished! It just needs minimal cleaning and should either be made a museum, clubhouse, etc. Disco! 40 acres of land can still be used to make developers cookie cutter homes.
I’m so glad to hear it’s not being torn down. I loved Donna Summers! And to see this mansion is so awesome. I hope someone buys it and takes good care of it. It should be loved and cared for. ❤
And she just received her Lifetime Grammy Achievement award in February and is set to have “I Feel Love” inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. She still has so much impact even after death
My favorite song by Donna Summer is "On the Radio". It was the main song in a late 1970s or early 1980s movie called Foxes, I think. I think that Jodie Foster was in it. I still listen to the song every few months or so on TH-cam. She had such a beautiful, natural voice.
Most if not all abandoned mansions are decaying but this one is PRESTIGIOUS! All that is too Beautiful to demolish it's a heritage building. She was definitely living the dream😪
As a person who did home construction it's really a shame that this would be destroyed. The work a craftsmanship that went in to this house is exceptional. I hope they re- perperous as much as they can. I never understood what people need with so much room. ( Even going back to the days of castles.) Nice video! 🌲🌲 🎼
I was walking down the street in Cairo, Egypt in 1981 and I heard " Love to love you baby" coming from some alley. I ran around trying to find it. It was incredible. I couldn't get it until someone returned to the states and brought me a copy.❤❤❤ loved Donna Summers.😢RIP beautiful queen.
I actually worked on this house and property back in 2006-07. I helped lay the reclaimed wood flooring and painted trim in the room. Also painted the fencing around the property. Can't believe it sat unused for so long.
I'm crying for that home. 😢it didn't deserve to be torn down. Why couldn't they just build around it. It's the most beautiful home I've seen. Thank you for the touring adventure.
I absolutely loved Donna Summer as a child! She always exuded such elegance! I can't believe they've opted to tear it down as opposed to finding a perspective buyer. The craftsmanship is outstanding... it's definitely worth saving! ❤
Yea. It sucks that it’s being demolished as beautiful as it is but it’s very expensive and personalized. Should have been a landmark & preserved. I’m imagining all sorts Grammys and Imaga awards and tons of others awards adorning the walls along with album covers and just a musical haven and historic escape.
@@donnastephan8828 Who ever bought it looked at all the empty land around it and decided a whole housing development was better suited to go up on it. They'd rather demolish and tear down one structure on 40 Acres of land.
BigBankz, Love your abandoned videos! I have been watching your videos for a few years now. I am 50, my Dad loved Donna Summers, so I grew up listening to her music. It's a little bit sad watching this video and thinking of her walking through her once loved home. It was probably once elegantly furnished. Thank you for having so much respect for the homes and buildings that you explore.
Donna, you had to work your Ass off to get all these things and I am so glad you got to enjoy them. Thxs for the Disco, I'm a 70's era kid. RIP and God Bless. Oh, beautiful home and love the tour.
This is what Jonny Cash met in his last video, my empire of dirt. Whatever we do in life whether it be magnificent such as Donna Summer or myself an RN with a modest 70"s built tri level house. Our lives are short and everything that we acquire stays here on this earth and will decay with time. The things that our most important is how we love and treat each other as well as how we care for our planet. Love you Donna Summer!
No, the most important thing is to get saved, live for Christ and have a spiritual relationship with him. Without this relationship, you will spend an eternity in hell. Pray, ask God to save you before you die.
Thank you for the wonderful tour. It was unfortunate the Donna passed. She was gorgeous and had alot more ahead of her. Beautiful voice, and I still l love her songs to this day.
I clean houses for a living. Man, these are cool videos. I seriously want to clean these houses. This one is really clean compared to other videos of course
Oh my mind is conjuring up all the beautiful gowns, coats, stage outfits, hats, shoes, jewelry and handbags that filled that master closet once upon a time. What a gorgeous mansion! Ive always been a huge fan of Donna Summer since I was a little girl. Thanks for showing us a tour of her home. Just stunning!💕👏
This is the best abandoned mansion I've ever seen, wow this lady had so much style and elegance. I'd move in right now,if it wasn't someone else's & about to be torn down. BEAUTIFUL property. Donna you did it BEST 🙏🏽💯🔥
I've seen bigger. It the process of being finished with cars and extremely expensive women's clothing. I forgot the name but a brain surgeon and his son went flying on a 1 engine place, they hit thunder and lightning. He was not experienced so both of them died. Insurance? Yes he had BUT just a month before he lapsed it. So, she couldn't afford it it was left abandoned. It is massive, bigger than Donnas.
The kitchen, great room, and master bedroom with bath were breathtaking. Actually Donna Summers had great taste in choosing her mansion & music. After all she worked hard for her money. RIP Donna Summers.
Such a beautiful home and the architecture is amazing. I will never understand why people want sooo much space though. Especially when a lot of these homes have only one or two people living in them.
The mirrors are probably for dancing. Donna was pure class. I cried my butt of when I heard she died. I didn't know she was sick. Rest in peace sweet disco queen! 💕💕💕💕
@@gigigiseleworld Yes, thanks for your reply & I am aware of her being private & her ‘ROOTS’ are Pentecostal being rooted in Jesus Christ; in the disco age she kinda moved away from that & she would be the very first person to admit that; nevertheless, she returned back & she talked about it in several interviews; and if I might add: I don’t believe Donna Summer would care about anymore privacy now! @@rma3_3_3 McArthur's Park is melting in the dark. In the song "MacArthur Park", the phrase "the cake is melting in the rain" is a metaphor for the end of a love affair. The song's writer, Jimmy Webb, has said that the song is symbolic and that everything in it is based on things he actually saw in MacArthur Park, a real park in Los Angeles. Google - macarthur park is melting in the dark meaning, This is an appropriate song for the condition and fate of this house.. The song was prophetic. Weird huh.
Those random rooms were probably offices , guestrooms, libraries, gym, media rooms, or maybe even a den. Sn: I hope you guys always stay together when exploring, never ever separate. Nice video. 👌🏾
That mirror room in the basement must of been her singing & dancing practices. 💃 beautiful home like Donna Summer was so sorry to hear it will be demolished..😢
I was a teenager in the 70's and I fell in love with Donna Summer! She has been my song Goddess ever since. I miss her greatly. THANK YOU for doing this video!!! You don't know how much Donna's fans will appreciate this. It is sick and depraved that one of her homes is to be demolished for greed and avarice. It should be kept as a keepsake and taken care of so it never deteriorates. But the whole world is nothing but evil and greed. It's definatley NOT the same world Donna and I grew up in, for sure. That room with the plain wood floor and the dark walls was probably her studio, and it was setup with all her music machines and instruments. Those little "off" rooms that are strange are sitting rooms. Kind of like, where you go to sit and not be bothered...maybe read a book or draw or paint, or just sit there and think about stuff. That master closet is bigger than my apartment!! I cannot fathom having so much money that you need a closet THAT big for your own personal department store!!! Thats beyond anything comprehensive!!! Upstairs, looks like they started builiding in the attic for extra space. This house is a MAZE!!! I'd get lost in it. That shower by the steam room was the rinse shower. You go rinse yourself off after steaming, so you don't smell like stanky sweat. It's not meant to be a SHOWER shower. You missed a room.
I just started watching your videos and I am very impressed with how respectful you are of the houses themselves, of the families that used to live in them, and of the belongings they left behind. Nicely done. I’m now a subscriber.
Thank you F or showing..God bless Donna and family..breaks my heart❤ they're te a ring it down... shameful waste of a such a beautiful gorgeous home...wasteful..so so pretty..if only those walls could talk..thanks and God bless AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL HOME..hope she's resting in peace!!!❤😊
It's rare for such a big house to be so welcoming. My favorite rooms were the kitchen (what's not to like?), and the closet/dressing room. I'm thinking that all of the strange rooms/spaces on the second floor were kid's bedrooms and play rooms, though I have a hard time imagining why they would design them like that. The basement was strange. I fully expected to see a home theatre and a pool room (the kind of pool you play on a pool table), but the rooms are so generic it's hard to say. Donna Summer was such a massive talent - she was a major part of my collige days - disco wouldn't have been disco without Donna. You should have had more time with us Donna. Thanks for the music. RIP.
Gorgeous home! I can see her personality all over it. Hopefully, the new buyers will sell all the appliances doors, etc. it’s just a shame that you can’t be restored to its natural beauty, especially on the outside and thank you for the tour!
My uncle was Donna’s teacher in Boston schools he said she was a real star even then..she’s the pride of Boston... Uncle tehn went on to become the NKOTB traveling teacher. He was their Freud. RIP Donna, Uncle Mark.
Not that Impressive unless I owned it or had some thing from it. I don’t get excited about other peoples money or property certain people do everybody should work on what they desire what they can afford and what they want counting other peoples money and property is other peoples not yours.❤
I don't understand how something this magnificent and beautiful could be torn down, especially considering it was once Donna Summer's! I wish someone could have bought this mansion & property and made it another home!
So just because "Donna Summer" was the owner, that's supposed to make a difference on whether it's torn down or not? Grow up! Just because someone works in the entertainment industry, that doesn't make them any more special than anyone else. They are all just normal people at the end of the day... nothing more!
@@Mingkai-cw6kh That is not what I meant or intended to mean. As in marketing, a popular, widely-known celebrity who's name is known worldwide, it's common to assume something they once owned would be grabbed up immediately because of the name associated with it, name-branding. Some people dream of a life of glamour or stardom, but having worked behind the scenes in film & TV for over a decade, there's nothing glamorous or special about it.
The house is located in Brentwood Tennessee it was built in 1993 and finish in 1994 when she died in 2012 her husband Bruce moved out it's a shame the house was just left to right away on 25 acres 😢
Stunning. My favorite part was the closet. Humongous, never seen one that big before. Donna was a star musician so would need all that space. Loved her music. Best dancing. Someone said there was a pool but it got filled in. Wondering where it was. Awesome Bankz and thank you very much for taking us to iew this beauty before it's gone.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely breathe taking!! This should be historically saved. She was a beautifully person inside and out. When I have to clean house I put her music on. I get a lot done. God bless you Donna.
I found information on the estate sale held in September 2022, it included professional recording equipment; I suspect it originally belonged to Donna and her husband Bruce but was left behind when Bruce sold the house.
Donna was married to an Italian so when you mentioned the ceiling I wasn’t surprised! I agree with you about all the beauty in the home it’s a crying shame they demolished it .
I hate when those big corporations come in and tear down a building so beautiful & put up houses that are ticky ticky tacky and they all look just the same. That house is absolutely gorgeous!!!💜💜💜
You remind me and my wife so much of our son. And we love you kiddo! You always do an awesome job on your videos and history of the properties you share on TH-cam
Donna moved to this area because she enjoyed the kindness of the local people and the respect of community when she once visited. Fun fact - in that garage, she rekindled her hobby of painting. Go look up her art. She was a true artist of many forms. Upsetting to hear the property will be divided up. Lots of expansion in this area.
It’s generally called a ‘family room’ right off of the kitchen in a house that size and then you generally have a formal living room and dining room in the front when you come in or sometimes a study is in the front too. The room with the sconces on the wall was probably an office.
Your absolutely right💯 Exactly she did get her 40 acres something to be proud of, I just wish like someone said it could be turned into a museum to display Dionna hard work, God Bless her hard working Soul, you as well,🙏🏼 and the fact that you even stated, she got her 40 acres❤
Dude, nice job on the tour! I've been a realtor for 33 years. I must point out that you missed in the three-car garage there are lifts. Which means six car garage. Thought that was way worth noting! Again good job.
Thank you so much for showing this beautiful home once owned by Donna Summers!! As a kid growing up in the 70's and 80's I was a true disco king and a big fan of Donna's. I think you said she was not the last person to live there. If so I would have been scaping up those stone left in the drawers and also some of her laungerie and that bottle of whiskey!! I am sure all the amazing mantles and crystal pieces will be salvaged. I am very surprised there was no pool especially since it had a sauna. I do think one of the down stairs room would have been a formal music room with a grand piano and another would be a trophy room to display and the awards and such she was awarded during her career. Possibly the "blue room" could have been her master bedroom and the other room was her private sitting room!!! Is this home in Tennessee?? I know she is buried in Tennessee!!! Thanks again for an awesome tour!!
I loved this lady, she was my favorite singer back in the 70s and I love her still, her style and beauty is amazing!! I still remember her songs McArthur park, and plenty more! Such a beautiful voice gone! Super talented!!
The house is absolutely stunning. I cannot believe they are just going to tear it down. Unbelievable. This should be preserved by the Rock n roll hall of Fame. I mean granted she made disco but it's all the glitz and glamour of rock n roll. Place is crazy cool and that basement is giving a studio 54 vibe.
This house is endless, I feel like I'm at IKEA, I love it! The kitchen, the primary closet, the balconies, the staircase(all of them), the privacy, it just kept on giving.
I believe that room in the basement with mirrors all over was likely a gym. Having a dry sauna and a shower right there next to the mirror maze would make sense that it was used as a gym…at least to me, lol
I would lay this place out if I could afford to buy it. The herringbone floors are beautiful. The master bathroom is absolutely beautiful. The main master closet is absolutely insane& beautiful. I need this closet😂
Thank you for sharing this immaculate home with the World! My jaw dropped and I mentally started drooling when I saw the main staircase and then the master closet! 🤣 That home is one Donna Summer definitely deserved! She is dearly loved and missed by many. Blessings of love and light to all!

Wow! That is such an incredible home. Thanks for taking us on the full tour. I could live happily in even the basement space. I would definitely put in a full exercise room and dance studio. I can just imagine this house in its glory days. Beautiful, beautiful mansion! I hope it's not being torn down. Too much rich historg here. It's very surprising to me that there was no pool...but that's okay. Many moons 🌙 ago I was a nanny in the mid 80's...around 1985. I attended a huge party right next to Donna Summer's home in Bellhaven, CT (part of Greenwich, CT proper) a beautiful area. Her house shared the same checkpoint with the one I was visiting. Her mansion was beautiful and I remember it featured a huge outdoor rectangular shaped swimming 🏊♀️ pool. From our perspective it looked like it backed up to Long Island Sound. I'm sure in actuality there was some distance between the two. However, it made for a spectacular view with the lights, the twinkling night's stars, the long beautiful pool, and a stunning view overlooking Long Island Sound. I'll never forget it. Thanks for sharing the video with us! Great job!😊❤❤❤❤❤
The reason the windows are boarded up is to keep them from being broken. Before they tare it down they will remove the windows and counters , cabinets, the lights and all the sinks , anything they can save. And they will sell it or reuse it in other properties or donate it to Habitat For Humanity
I was thinking there are so many beautiful fixtures that could be repurposed or sold, as well as the literal tons of gorgeous granite!! Love the style!
Why won't no one buy it someone could at least turn it into a drug rehab center or temporary home for homeless people until they get on there feet America waste so much money on stupid things like funding wars. Keep going into space nothing is out here already geesh.

After Donna Summer's death, her family probably didn't want to continue living there without her and most likely, the estate would be extremely too big for them and had moved into much smaller homes.
As another custom designed mansion, this is one I would definitely purchase. Clean lines and colors, nice location and you wouldn't bump into the door frames. Don't think this one would rot away as quickly as some.

Other builders and remodeling contractors will purchase those items. The tile, cabinets, appliances, beam's.. That's a lot of money...😊❤
I’m so glad to hear it’s not being torn down. I loved Donna Summers! And to see this mansion is so awesome. I hope someone buys it and takes good care of it. It should be loved and cared for. ❤
She was a five time Grammy award winner. She was only 63 when she passed away. So much talent to be gone so soon. RIP.
And she just received her Lifetime Grammy Achievement award in February and is set to have “I Feel Love” inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. She still has so much impact even after death
It is sad to see her house empty! I'm pretty Donna and her family and created a lot of memories there!
Wow she was so young, her mansion is gorgeous 👍🏻
WHY??? TEMODLE SELL IT !!!!

Yea. It sucks that it’s being demolished as beautiful as it is but it’s very expensive and personalized.

She was beautiful and her house is just as magnificent as she was. RIP lovely lady.
Hopefully she enjoyed this home and had happy times in it.
I'm happy to hear that😊
Donna, you had to work your Ass off to get all these things and I am so glad you got to enjoy them. Thxs for the Disco, I'm a 70's era kid. RIP and God Bless. Oh, beautiful home and love the tour.

Our lives are short and everything that we acquire stays here on this earth and will decay with time. Oh my mind is conjuring up all the beautiful gowns, coats, stage outfits, hats, shoes, jewelry and handbags that filled that master closet once upon a time. What a gorgeous mansion!

Okay, the kitchen and large master closet are amazing. What a beautiful home. It is sad that it is scheduled for demolition. Thank you.
I found information on the estate sale held in September 2022, it included professional recording equipment; I suspect it originally belonged to Donna and her husband Bruce but was left behind when Bruce sold the house.

It’s generally called a ‘family room’ right off of the kitchen in a house that size and then you generally have a formal living room and dining room in the front when you come in or sometimes a study is in the front too. The room with the sconces on the wall was probably an office.
