What I like about Where The Streets Have No Name is that right before the Carcass, there's a book actually hinting at and describing it in case you hadn't seen it before.

However he does get enraged when you kill his eyeballs. Also he makes a summon sigil underneath you sometimes and it wrecks your when you step on it
