With anti-gun liberals YES! You put security bars, riot or ballistic glass security doors in front of security entry/exit doors with reinforced door jambs, hinges, knobs and looks that can't be picked. Even simple security bars under door knobs help but have a gun on you.
That fog cannon is definitely a great choice for home defence. In combination with a strobe light and a very loud siren you got a very effective home defence system
Me too. Why would I want to use a LTLD (less than lethal device) if the person breaking in was in the house with me? About the only reason I can think of would the clean up.
In Australia, using a firearm even in home defence, more often than not leads to charges and court proceedings, possibly even prison time. There has been instances of people going fisticuffs with intruders, and still being charged with assault.

I believe in a "all of the above approach" to home defense . You want layers of tools and layers of plans . Even if all you do is slow them down or force them to be noisy so you have time to execute those plans . What you DON'T want is a huge BANG and there's 2 dudes inside your house . You aren't getting to a phone let alone dialing it , and unless the weapon is already on your body you aren't likely to get to that either . Gaining a few seconds is critical, and if they get scared off in the process even better . But keep in mind , they woke up that day and knew they'd be breaking into homes where people might be . That's not just a crime of opportunity . Prepare with that in mind
