Let's face the reality. The US and Europe don't have any effect on Myanmar. The top three influential countries over Myanmar are China, Japan and Singapore. If the US and Europe sanction Myanmar, then China/Japan/Singapore will happily take over what they left over. Besides, Myanmar is a member of ASEAN and it just joined RCEP. All Asian countries, except the infamous Indians, will support Myanmar, disregarding Myanmar's internal affairs. The best the west can do is just do nothing, because they cannot do anything anyway.

We can't do much for now. The members are still discussing. ASEAN can't get involve directly or sending troops there since the Myanmar Military are backed up by the China Military. It's hard but something will surely happen soon
As far as I know that all ASEAN member states are commit to follow non-interference policy and it's also original core foundation. Thus why that one state can't intervene another state's internal affairs like Democracy and Human-right violation issues. Also, ASEAN doesn't have alliance military likes African Union and EU. So, in my opinion, ASEAN can't give pretty much help to Myanmar and also this non-interference policy need to discuss in future to change it.

We can't do much for now. The members are still discussing. ASEAN can't get involve directly or sending troops there since the Myanmar Military are backed up by the China Military. It's hard but something will surely happen soon
As far as I know that all ASEAN member states are commit to follow non-interference policy and it's also original core foundation. Thus why that one state can't intervene another state's internal affairs like Democracy and Human-right violation issues. Also, ASEAN doesn't have alliance military likes African Union and EU. So, in my opinion, ASEAN can't give pretty much help to Myanmar and also this non-interference policy need to discuss in future to change it.

@@tgarsyaddd What a bunch of nonsense. ASEAN is not a military organization. It's ridiculous to suggest any military action. Coup is not uncommon in the region and all ASEAN members uphold the principle of non-interference, as do China. This is strictly an internal matter of Myanmar.

The military should release Suu Kyi and resolve the situation in line with true democratic principles. If it does not, the country risks another round of sanctions.
