    In today's video we head to Costco here in Sydney and test out a bunch of items that you guys have suggested for me to try! I have never been to Costco before and I'm now questioning why I've never done that before. We ended up getting 10 different items, from Asian frozen foods, like dumplings to ready made noodles, to child hood snacks and most of it were pretty impressive / delicious.

Like you said not easy especially living in an expensive city like Sydney but sometimes if you have a passion for something sometimes you just have to pursue it and see how you end up.     Great choice of food items.
    You should try the Buono Mochi Ice Dessert made from coconut milk, they are Gluten free & non dairy. Comes in Green Tea, Black Sesame, Mango and Chocolate flavours

    Hi Janice,
    You need to try the dried mangoes from the Philippines.
    I think the best frozen har gow is the KBs brand that you can get from Coles and Woolies. KB also have a yummy prawn gyoza. You so need to try them out if you haven't already.

      I tried chilli oil, sesame seed oil, ox sauce... depend on what you feel like?? Sometimes I add beef or fish ball too and extra choy sum veggie. Hmm vinegar... might try that next time...🤔

    So interesting that those shiitake mushroom crisps are the equivalent to AUD$4.51 at my local supermarket here in New Zealand. I wonder why they're so expensive at Costco. When Costco opens here, it'll be interesting to see the price difference, as they are one of my fave snacks.

    Literally eating the “Korean noodles” with some meats and veggies right now as I watch this! 😂 I’ve had those soup bowls too and I do the exact same thing and cook it on the stove haha. I find the texture better than microwaved.
    Have you tried the cafe at Costco? It’s nothing fancy but the chicken bake is the perfect snack to share after shopping haha. I’m curious what’s in the cafe there in Sydney vs what I have here in Texas.

      I love buying the side of salmon and grilling it on BBQ. We then wrap it up with vermicelli, herbs and lettuce in rice paper rolls and dip with Vietnamese nuoc mam dipping sauce!

    The Luv-a-Duck pancake kits are available at supermarkets in the cold section, not frozen. Usually half that size, perfect for two. We have them often.

      @@JaniceFung Hi Janice, just an old white bloke’s opinion but the Mr Chen’s range of dumplings and prawn hargow available most anywhere are very good. Aldi brand range worth a try, too. We buy frozen hot pot mix from Trin’s in Penrith Westfield. Worth a visit, small shop, big range. Enjoy your videos, thanks so much.

    Only recently I decided I want to go to Costo,perhaps because lack of travel makes me want to go shopping I too love supermarkets when overseas especially Eastern Europe .Ive seen those mushroom chips but wasnt sure,smaller pack of same hargow available at supermarket I love beef jerky which isnt sweet. I want to try those noodles. I cannot believe Costco sell coffins,just seems bizarre. Also,I bought small pack of that hibiscus in Daiso,but generally a good hibiscus is good to lower blood pressure,recently though I sent gourmet kitkats to Japanese TH-camr&he loved rasberry,hibiscus&rose kitkat so hibiscus is versatile thanks again🥣

    It’s very easily gone broke, if you don’t watch out what you buy. Cos everything look very attractive and yummy 🤤 , you just can’t resist.

      Crunchy to me is more like 脆. Google just says refreshing for 爽, which is a bit meh

      脆 strikes me more as crispy. Refreshing would be the non-food definition. An apple would be 爽, potato chips would be 脆, that's just how I interpret it.

    My favourite "snack" from Costco is pretending to be Homer Simpson scarfing down "64 slices of American cheese - glgllgllgl" but the Costco pack is actually 120 slices.

    Some friend brought that duck set over for dinner. It was disgusting. No one in our group of 10 liked it and it’s actually more expensive than a whole fresh roasted duck. Still like your videos though! :)
