I just tied one of these, but with a hook which had an inturned eye (curve shank) and not a choddy. Looks good and the palm test indicates that it should be pretty lethal as it turns and catches very well. This is to be used with a bottom bait. Would love to know if anyone has tried this and if it has been successful.
i had 5 fish on a recent session with a bottom bait multi recently, biggest 29. I was using korda curve shank 4s which have inturned eyes and rig tube also for a kicker, i used a supple braid for the D section that holds the micro swivel and continue that an inch from the eye where its whipped onto a stiff boom. very effective rig. id say the outurned eye is only used here to counter the thick coated braid

works with a pop up and a wafter its just a d rig really on softer line and defo will work with a bottom bait too its an all rounder really
