Lower altitude jump. Usually around 5,000 feet (whereas normal jump altitude is 10,000 and up). Typically it's used to practice for an aircraft issue that requires you to bail early. Or it's for people just working on canopy skills that don't want/need the free fall time. Hop n' pops usually cost less since you burn less fuel to get to that altitude.
Forgive me for asking this but: In the good old days an op and pop was best ways 2500 feet sometimes a little lower. In the U.K. we had low cloud and some times use to risk it for a biscuit. But you know;;; even after all these years I really want to fly that Sabre 3. So if there is anyone out there who would like to make make an old man happy, here I am...
Looking back now it makes everything look really stupid. There's still people wearing masks in the car and walking outside. haha People will believe anything.

Yes. Just demoing the Sabre 3. The canopy I jumped in Dubai was a friend’s - didn’t bring my own gear all the way out there for a few jumps.

For having a slider the size of the canopy almost, I see it's absolutely necessary and still opens like a bag of crap! Hate those canopies.

You need to wear a mask while skydiving, you don't want to catch or spread Coved while in freefall.
