Mike is a hell of a stand up guy! That’s why I’ve always liked him since I’ve met him and he told me he used my photos to help set his car back in the day. Super happy my boys love him as well, as he’s one of the “good guys” that’s always clean, humble, and just all around great dude! He’s someone parents of kids who race, or want to, tell them to emulate as they get into the sport. Hats off to you Mike! Thank you for being “that guy”!
Nice clean 3rd pl finish. Hats off to you Mike for being there and sticking up for a follow driver. You don't find that much these days when everyone is for themselves. I totally respect that. I hope you got a big "thanks you" for that. Mandee as always great video.
Nice job Mike , the car looked good you looked good! It's great to see you smile! The action you took in tech is what makes an Excellent driver and a Good Man! Awesome vlog Mandy as always! Thank you!
Mike what a great race. Even more respect for you after you described the tech issue on Rudolph 's car. That is one of the reasons you have become my favorite driver. You drive with respect and treat your other fellow drivers the same way. You are a great ambassador for the sport of dirt modified racing.
Yet another fantastic DTU submission. You wove a wonderful story of the day from start to finish and I am happy I was brought along on the ride (in spirit). Once again, editing and music were spot-on and bringing us into the tech shed and explaining the nuances of what occurred helps in our understanding of the situation and also adds to the overall sterling reputation of your driver (and husband!). 3 races, 3 tracks, 3 nights and none were more than 1 1/2 hours from E'Town!!
I liked the way Mike explained his thoughts on the weights I wouldn't think it will help especially the way mud packs in there will.have much more to do with balance
very interesting to see and hear all the behind the scenes stuff in tech. I always hate any race being decided after the fact... I agree it's gotta be something serious to warrant DQ'ing a guy. track looked amazing, racing was good... Mike even had a couple looks at 2nd.
Way to team. 3rd ain't bad when up against the big blocks. Great explanation about tech. Love the attitude sticking up for fellow competitors. Mandee....great job as always!!
I remember watching Rudolph in an asphalt mod at lancaster speedway in NY 10 mins from my house & at Oswego speedway, he did the smart thing to switch to dirt, he's talented even when he was 16 driving asphalt mods....how time flies this was a fantastic video
They have something like that for big trucks to balance the tires and wheels sounds like a good idea for the race cars with mud getting inside the left rear
Thank you for sharing. Great work and driving to a P3 finish. Tech can always be interesting based on what they decide to check. Agreed that sometimes the "C" word can be misused by people for small or minor infractions. Stay safe and happy motoring.
Hello Mandee it s Stephen the airbourne raceway fan watched the races and I had a wonderful time happy to see you both at the track I had plans to see about my picture with you both but in all the excitement I accidentally left my phone at home I feel bad 😞 thanks for being at airbourne speedway !
I'm very fortune to live within a 90-minute drive to 5 tracks. 3 that are on the Short Track Super Series in Selinsgrove, Port Royal, and Bloomsburg. by the way, green beans are a snack, and a healthy one, at that.
I agree, something like a weight valence isn't a big deal. It should be a kecture, and that's it, and consider that as a warning. If he has something that's not legal, but not all that important, a small fine, like $20-$50, that's it. In my eyes weighting kind of controversial. 1-15 isn't too, too light, but 100 pounds is bunch to lose in a race car, regardless of class.
Nice third place finish Mike and Mandee and 35 Team.good luck on Sunday at devil's bowl speedway in Vermont. Video job awesome man dee.Be Safe and healthy
If balancing a tire is that important then get a old bubble level type balancer and mount the tire onto the wheel, don't seat it so it on the beads so it can be rotated on the rim. Throw it in balancer, put the bead lock ring on top and put a index mark on the wheel and rim. Rotate the tire independent of the wheel till you fine the spot that is closest to balanced and then assemble it put air in it. Guess what, you didn't use any weights. Old mechanic showed me how to do this back in 1991, works great. You can still buy the balancers at harbor freight
Great run Mike you definitely made the right call whats up with the axle inspection are you required to run only a certain spline count anyway great run super job as always by your whole crew Mandy super video as always Drag racer Ray
It's great to see Mike get the lousy monkey off his back !!! He's one of the very good guys and deserves more success !!! There are so many good drivers and equipment out there these days a win is extremely tough to come by !!!!! I still see some wins coming his way he's just too good of a driver and a very hard worker for it not to happen !!! Your dad has spoiled you Mandy when it comes to winning your dad was a freak of nature in a race car !!!! I believe your understanding of racing and support has made Mike a better driver !!!! He couldn't have a better wife then you the amazing support you give and the prettiest wife in racing hands down !!!!!! Looking forward to your next great video !!!! PS I have a large amount of subscribed racing channels online and your work is still the best racing channel out there !!!! The difference !!!! Mandy's talent for understanding the racing game on dirt and knowledge with amazing professionalism !!!!!
Hey guys, what's the deal with the excessive body role and weight transfer with these new cars. The Troyer and Showcar chassis I worked on thought the 1980's didn't have near that much role. Maybe the card are a little faster on really smooth track.... How often do you have a nice smooth dirt track??? Lol... What am I missing here??
Who Mandy hey Mandy I think that because they tack room one find your top three cars have to be attacked but it in some race tracks they sometimes tech the Fort the last place car and sometimes that last place car might be the one that is worse but sometimes it could be the carburetor or fuel or way too much weed in the car
They going to have another modified show this year at Airborne? I've never been to Airborne (1 hour ride) should get Dave and go down on our motorcycles.
Mike , Psss I can see so many times , track to track . True it's a very Bussy chair 😊 . Tonite Lap times could be faster 🤔 .by getting down on the rt foot sooner ,a full two seconds , when the bite says go.... Exiting cornner . I rarely see you testing for spin .👀 Respectfully Mr Mike🥂🏁
he is a pretty conservative driver. I kind of agree with you but when you see the video from the stands its looks like they are getting on the gas faster than it sounds from the in car camera. I almost wonder if there is a synching problem with the sound because it sounds like he' driving it in really deep at the end of the straights.
If they stick to the wheel they have been balanced on a machine. We did it on every set of rear tires at the valley for years. Imagine driving your street car without balancing the tires. Every street car is balanced. So why not race cars. Unheard of.
What kind of tech was that? Um, do you have an axle in your car? Um, are those wheel weights making the tire TOO heavy?? Seriously, why is there a rule for overweight tires? Did anyone tech the engines? I'm missing something. Good call on the small block. You finished 3rd, and had they opted not to work on the track before features, it would have gone even better for you.
It is perfectly ok to say the “r” word at the racetrack if you are not yet at the track you are actually racing at. That way it will hopefully only r#@n at the track you are at now and it won’t follow you…😂
Matter fact we have lost a race before and I’m thinking that we were in the last place car in the top three in the first place car and kinda had a carburetor with the wrong part in it so they felt they were gonna fail us an intern intern that the top two guys in front of us had illegal carburetors and we got a first place finish because of the other two guys and they waived the fee and they waived the part we finish third but that’s the reason why they took the top three cars Put some soundtracks they actually tech for cars or five cars extra until they find out which car is legal which car is not legal that’s the bigger picture if you’re all going for that money that you owe some people can keep that trophy and the check but soon as they going to text in the text Byrne the car is illegal to take the points away so that’s why I would think that but most likely if you go in the tack barn and the car isn’t legal then you lose your points and lots of money and lost the trophy I think that’s the bigger picture

@@dirttrackuntold just spewing facts, man! When you ask Finn who his favorite driver is, you’re on a very short list my friend. Same as Sean Jr.
Nice clean 3rd pl finish. Hats off to you Mike for being there and sticking up for a follow driver. You don't find that much these days when everyone is for themselves. I totally respect that. I hope you got a big "thanks you" for that. Mandee as always great video.

Great video Mandee. Congratulations on third place. Mike is a true gentlemen and I like that he stood up for Rudolph.
Both Mike and Jessey are class acts in tech hats off to Mike on the 3rd place

I liked the way Mike explained his thoughts on the weights I wouldn't think it will help especially the way mud packs in there will.have much more to do with balance
So happy to hear this! Glad you liked that part!
Thank you for the video, Mandy! Happy that Mike had a good run!
very interesting to see and hear all the behind the scenes stuff in tech. I always hate any race being decided after the fact... I agree it's gotta be something serious to warrant DQ'ing a guy. track looked amazing, racing was good... Mike even had a couple looks at 2nd.
Right on the edge of the gearing in that heat. Just getting into the rev limiter at the end of the straight. Car looked great guys.
Way to team. 3rd ain't bad when up against the big blocks. Great explanation about tech. Love the attitude sticking up for fellow competitors. Mandee....great job as always!!
Thank you!!
It was amazing to see you guys race here again, I grew up on this track and watching you guys was apart of it❤️ Amazing job by Mike!
great job Mike ,,and ur a very up-standing man ,,good to hear about the tech problem ,,and ur postive thoughts on it !!!!
I remember watching Rudolph in an asphalt mod at lancaster speedway in NY 10 mins from my house & at Oswego speedway, he did the smart thing to switch to dirt, he's talented even when he was 16 driving asphalt mods....how time flies this was a fantastic video
Nicely done Mike 👍
Awesome job 👏 good run
I haven't worked on a small block in years; it is a wise move using one. As always good luck and Keep Orange Crushing It!
Nice call on the small block, exciting race. Enjoyed it very much. 👍

Bead balancing. They are used in big truck tires. All they will do is take the vibration
Out of the tire. No harm no foul. Good call Mike.
Thank You Mandy. 🏁
Hello Mandee it s Stephen the airbourne raceway fan watched the races and I had a wonderful time happy to see you both at the track I had plans to see about my picture with you both but in all the excitement I accidentally left my phone at home I feel bad 😞 thanks for being at airbourne speedway !
Congratulations Mike good run buddy. Thanks Mandy for another great video.
Congrats for 3rd 🥂👀👍 👍 trailing two big blocks . Still great show & finish . 😊
For us down south, we honestly don’t hardly tow over 1 1/2 hours most races. It varies from 15 mins to a bit over an 1 hour pull
Btw.... nice run mike !!
agree Mike on the win
Good showing...super race...thks
I just love to videos because it's places I used to go thank you very much for your videos I wish they could be there bye

I don't know what a kecture is, but I meant "lecture" . I can't change my comment on Tablet, sadly.
That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Little do you guys know none of the tech officials showed up before the race
I go to airborne speed way all the time
Great sportsman ship❣️ top 3 🥂🏁🥂🏁🥂🏁👀😊
I think the bowl should have better bite/ traction , than usual Sunday 🤔🤔🤔

Coils ! Run as close to a late model as can now. The suspension is very different then years ago.
roll, not role. and they are all back on coil overs now instead of torsion bars. Rudolph was the first one who changed back about 10 years ago.
