This video was a really good one, lots of truth bombs and interesting points of view about how censoring only makes those with hateful views smarter to navigate through the obstacles and ultimately makes the whole discourse in society more dishonest and unclear, like how harmful bacteria becomes more resistent to antibiotics and more resilient over time. Very interesting. Also, this has always been H3's problem, he is super ignorant and lazy and rarely does research about what he talks about, he just loves to judge and throw shit at people he doesn't like.

It’s sad that creators in the commentary community no longer feel the need to watch each other’s videos/takes before criticizing them. What is the point of getting nice studios/setups, cameras, and teams of people working behind the scenes if you can’t put in the bare minimum work of researching topics or even simply watching other’s videos before you comment your opinion. This is especially true of male victims of sexual abuse. I pray we learn from the Depp trial. I worked DV crisis and I had male clients who would be stabbed, beat, and sexually abused but would decline treatment because of stigma. Our society has systematically dismantled male rites of passage, role models, and social supports. We can uplift women without pushing down men. Please continue raising awareness.

Genuinely some of the most intelligent people I’ve seen on the internet. Just the ability to understand the underlying tones and communicate it to an audience in such an interesting and easy way is something worth endless praise. I started watching some years ago as a teenager, not really understanding the content. Now having watched many recent videos in such a confusing social era, it truly benefits me and my thinking and I can’t put into words how important these videos could be. I have just fully realized that these two are the only, I mean only TH-camrs who touch on social aspects on the entire app. I used to think Hasan Piker was actually dope until I saw one of Aba & Preach’s videos showing how incredibly biased he is, along with the majority of the social commentary TH-camrs. Living in and having grown up in Portland, I have begun to see just how insidious it is. I tell those around me that I believe racism in the south easier to deal with see as opposed to the racism here in the Pacific Northwest, where everyone pretends and even declares to the world just how inclusive and woke they are when not even that deep down they’re really just racist themselves.

I have to agree about the “coded bigotry.” Sometimes I’ll check out a new YT channel and just get a weird vibe but nothing direct. Then I look at the comments and see what that community is like. I know sometimes good people have questionable audiences, but either way, it’s not a crowd I want to hang out with. After seeing this I noticed they have no people of color on staff or on the show and 99% of the time they talk about Black people it's usually a negative story or they have negative takes on black creators. A short time ago there was a story that went viral about a black TH-cam creator getting a strike for the same content a white creator made who got no strike. It was a huge story every big TH-camr made a video defending the black creator but Ethan and Hila we're too busy trying to tear People of color down.
