Very profound commentary on style Ker. Something I've noticed is how many Tim Holtz, Dina Wakley clones are out there,, for example. So i make my own stuff, which is a part of my hobby, and then i know everything is unique, like me 😊
But I'm not afraid to borrow ideas from others. As Austin Kleon says...'Steal like an artist ".

What I didn't say that I should have included here is that there are people who have definite style they bring to all the DIFFERENT things they do. I think that's a happy medium.
I agree, "clones" is the perfect word. If they didn't have the crutches of the big name's every supply, their "art" would just fall apart into tiny bits of glue and string on the craft table 😂🤣😂

You aren’t kidding about how junk journaling gets us to keep everything, seeing potential in every.single.thing. lol! 😅 Love how you used paints and coffee spray to get your vintage and bright pages to blend, looks fantastic. (some Maleficent colors there too NICE!) Kristina made awesome tags with the ransom letters for sure, love how you were inspired and made some super cool stuff. Great tip on keeping “and”, “but” “&” and “‘s” with ransom letters.

Hahhah, I'd LOVE to have a "relaxing Autumn Sunday" but it's still very much summer here 🥵 feels as if it's going to last until Thanksgiving. It's so warm the jet-skiers are still playing in the water as if it were mid-July. I am SO over it. It's like being in a wet bathing suit ALLLLLL day, that feeling of relief when one finally gets warm, dry, comfy clothes on after a day on the water. My legs are craving warm sweat pants and sock vs. yet another day of shorts and flip-flops 😂🤣😂 Yes, that's me: complaining about the nice weather, 🤪 Hope YOU are getting some beautiful 🍁Cozy-In Weather 🍂

YAY!!! Overcast days ahead!! Not here...more bloody sunshine, lol. Hot and sunny here AGAIN today. Though, not AS hot as it has been. I am SO ready for sweatshirt weather. I'm sick to death of wearing shorts. Kinda like being in a wet swimsuit after a long day in /on the lake...there's nothing like getting into some nice dry sweatpants and comfy t-shirt.

As for copying them, YES!! Absolutely, once they're digital there's loads that can be done (shrinking them down for tiny projects is one of my favorites!)
