I was there for there for three hours with nothing, was fishing on the drop off away from the dam it goes to 17 then back up to ten and back down and was marking fish on my depth finder on the main lake side but couldn’t get them to commit, nice job maybe see you on the ice another time possibly the east canyon derby 😉
Fishing With Tobi still no ice on east canyon at this point so the derby will be entertaining I’m already registered for it but still not time fishing it
peacemaker2048 you should it’s hot right now the fish are hitting like crazy. And the ball is a sonar, deeper pro plus. Is a fish finder that connect threw WiFi. Scans the water and what not. Awesome fishing tool
MtnW Bassin i scanned the water at about 17 feet the deepest I found, the ice was about 4/5 inches close to the bank, more towards the middle it was about 3 inches
Hey I noticed you are using the deeper pro. What is your honest opinion about it? How often do you use it on open water? Worth the money or waste? I want to start ice fishing and I was thinking of picking one up.
Lazaro Garcia well it really depends on the person, and how deep you are into fishing in general not just ice fishing, In my personal opinion I think is just and amazing fish finder. I use it on my kayak, from the shore line. And a lot of ice fishing. There is definitely ups and downs. For example you need to be at least 3 feet of water for it to start working, but you can learn a lot about the body of water. Wether is depth or if there is structure like trees or rocks etc If can figure how to use it it’ll definitely give you and advantage on the water, so yeah I think is very worth the money! And its one of the best portable fish finders on the market. I do recommend it, I have the deeper pro plus. That’s the best one so far.

Did you go in the morning or afternoon went Saturday caught about 10 is all bite died off at 10
zachh72 I went around 11 am, till 5 pm, the bite did slow down as the sun went down, perch slow down a lot during night hours.

Yeah I went again, also but the bite turned off a lot. Also people took a lot of the fish home.
