Pierre, you never have to apologise for having a French accent. Like most Englishmen, I can just about manage to order a beer and a ham and cheese sandwich in French. I am constantly amazed at other people's ability to communicate so fluently in another language.

I am just starting with DLG and just wanted to thank you for all those tips and good practices you shared across the years. I went through many of them starting form the oldest to the one like this. It is such a fun to see all the joy coming from this hobby. I wander if the habits form electric gliders and acrobats will be the obstacles or kind of help during the first launches of my new (used) DLG. Thank you and keep up going with the pro tips for such newbies in DLG. Greetings from Poland in such crazy times.

Woow, that launch was great! 👌 I think that glider has a nice performance. I hope that I can try a similar glider to Yours in the future!

Your English is really good! And your video too. Thanks for doing what you do 🙂
By the way, colder, denser air shouldn’t affect gliders much, although it will change the air viscosity and hence Reynolds number, therefore changing the boundary layer behaviour. This could cause a slight change in the lift to drag ratio and hence glide angle, but I suspect it would be very hard to detect that without very precise measurements.

Pierre, I don’t think you realize your English is very very good. It is better than some whose 1st language is English. Your video are very constructive. You have such a good understanding of air and flying. I applaud you. Chouette!

Thanks Pierre! Question. Does the colder denser air noticeably increase dead air flight times compared with summer?
