I friggin' love ClayFighter. I managed to score the TE cartridge when Blockbuster was clearing out their inventory for, I wanna say like 3 bucks. I rarely play fighters from this era anymore (with the exception of SFII and MK), but this is one I go back to from time to time.
This and the N64 sequel are on my "to complete" list for next year. The game looked amazing for the time and was sort of unique in the 1 on 1 fighting genre.
Bad Mr Frosty's voice doesn't looks like he had the same voice actor as the announcer. Well, he have the same voice actor as the announcer in the 16-bit Clayfighter games.
IIRC removing that giant bomb fuse sprite (turning off the timer) can improve performance in this game. I loved this game as a kid and I loved how T.E. allowed for different sprite colors. I especially like that you did this playthrough with BMF's (lol, I just got that!) orange hat. I love the voice samples in this game. "Finish him! Wise guy, eh?" and that epic Saturday morning cartoon style intro song? Everyone always says this game is clunky, but honestly, it's not *that* bad. It's a decent 6-button fighting game with great humor and some killer tunes.
Lol yeah, he's one bad mutha alright. I love the voices too. There are a ton of them for a SNES cart. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, HERE ARE THE COMBATANTS FOR THIS EXTRAVAGANZA!"
ClayFighter is cool, but man, that song is an _amazing_ 16-bit achievement! *ClayFighter, Clay Clay Fighter, c'mon fight them if you dare, oo!* Still waiting for Holiday gifts from Bad Mr. Frosty!
Clayfighter is classic! Didn't know they had a tournament edition till 3 years ago. Lol There is word that there is a clayfighter remake called clayfighter resculpted!! I'm exited for it!!!
I don't think I'd ever realized just how much they improved over the original, all of the clay stage backgrounds look MUCH better than the pixel art ones.
Everything about this game gives me such an odd feeling of discomfort. I really like the variety of poses they captured. I've been pausing it at random times just to see the individual frames. I don't know if I would play this game but I am simultaneously charmed and scared by it.
@@legionbeast I never understood why they didn't just delay Clayfighter 63 1/3 and release it complete instead of double dipping with the exclusive Blockbuster Sculptor's Cut. The new theme song was AWESOME. And you gotta love how they cut out Hobocop because they didn't want to offend homeless advocates, but were totally fine with Kung Pow and his Moe Howard haircut.
Even if it's not Street Fighter II, it's really difficult to dislike a game that has as much charm as ClayFighter does.
I'm bad…
I'm cool…
I'm nobody's fool.
Bad Mr. Frosty, Clay Fighter and Philosopher, 1993
Kenny Loggins said the same thing in Caddyshack 2, didn't he?
This is a series I would love see make a comeback. Call it....Clayfighters: ReMolded

The animals from Claymates carry the title cards that announce each round...
Oh my god it's them!
I never noticed it before.
Nice little Easter egg...
Wow talk about memories....i remember renting this as a kid

Also had C2 judgement clay as well
The voice from Bad Mr. Frosty sound like the Batman of Christian Bale.

I've heard of kicking someone's ass, but not literally, then punting Taffy's "jawbreakers." THE... PAIN!!!!!!!!!!
They really did Blue Suede Goo dirty with that background 😂
that Elvis clay head looks a bit creepy!

Merry Christmas, Bad Mr. Frosty.🎄⛄🎁🦌🤶🎅

Following up on Bad Mr. Frosty's canon ending, Sumo Santa joins the tournament in Clay Fighter 63 1/3.
I rented this game when I was so young I played this game.
Me too
this is the frst game I remember that had singing.
Finish him Bad Mr. Frosty 🥶🥶
Taffy yeah one guy
Bonker blue suede goo come on move 0:56
They should put this game and it's sequel on the SNES Online thing.
Cuphead was made with traditional animation. Why can't Clayfighters be remade like that today?
I think it would lose a lot of what makes it ClayFighter if you removed the clay.
claymation is quite expensive and stop motion animation takes an extremely long time
isnt that how Kirby's Rainbow Curse was made?
There's word that a fan game called clayfighter resculpted is in early stages!!
Blue Suede Go is awesome. Hey watch the hair man.
This game should be on NSO
All I can say is BLUE SUEDE GOO!
This game is such a classic 😂
Outstanding video.
This game is much bizarre but makes very fun
0:52 Oh Wiseguy huh?
I love Stretchy boi
Taffy!
Bad Mr Frosty wins match perfect
Double k.o.
Sad that Clay Fighter 63 1/3 killed this series.
Wasn't it because it got rushed out or something? I know that there was a blockbuster only cut that had more content and is the rarest to find.
Claytality!
@@stonercrazyclips222 Those were hilarious, as was Sumo Santa.

Drewdog I imagine the objection was more over the depiction of drinking alcohol in a kid’s game.
So badass good upload
Taffy lol
This version has more clay styled stage backdrops compared to the original.
Memories.
16:46 Double K.O. !
I wish they make this for the switch
Didn't Harley's Humongous Adventure use the same studio to design the characters?
How do you select the alternate costume?
If I got juggled like then when I was a kid then the controller would have gone flying.
Let's Kick Some Clay
0:31 a cow?
Man, that final boss was really disappointing. The name and design were as basic as possible. This was fun to watch though.
Haha I remember the first one has a catchy theme song
It's in this one too!
C2: Judgment Clay next? :D
Search on his channel. It was uploaded already.
@@nikitawineberger8973 oh snap, thanks for the heads up! I'm clearly behind here :)
I actually put a link to it and the first game in the description.
This game it's so funny kkkkkkkk
Too bad there is not a clay fighter collection of modern consoles
They really did assume that this series could beat SFII ? Not unplayable but just bland. Even World Heroes have a Death Match to spice up the things.
Who’s watching in 2025
