I missed a few opportunities to make some jokes like MANAdatory 😆But otherwise happy with how the video came out. Next up are gonna be matchups, so keep an eye out! 😇 Link to my full guide: th-cam.com/video/-zihOdVo4mw/w-d-xo.html
This is wonderful content, thank you! It's unfortunate that Celerity and Stormsurge are worse than the alternatives; the games where enemy team is full squishy and you get both are so fun. Looking forward to matchup guide!
Hi, what are your thoughts on Rod of Ages? I've just started playing Aurora recently and felt like I just get blown up when I ult into fights. So I've been building RoA/ Liandrys or Riftmaker and it feels like I survive for a lot longer and still deal a lot of damage. I've been combining that with Comet/ Resolve setup 90% of the time. High Gold/ Plat elo currently
Hey! Glad to hear it's been working out with that setup I've experimented a lot and any game that requires you to go tanky Aurora generally is not a good Aurora game (you don't choose your games of course sometimes since you blind pick her) That said, Liandry is good and Riftmaker is really situational I would never go ROA since Aurora's main purpose is to deal damage, ROA is a scaling item and she doesn't really need that (nor does she need seraphs) But if you find success with something keep doing it! As long as you play around with what you have you can generally make a lot of things work. I personally do not recommend people to go a tanky route if you can avoid it, rather look to be more of an assassin+teamfighter, since that's what's Aurora's nature and that's what I find the most success with
Laning phase wise she's better on top due to more lower ranged opponents. But as a mid laner you generally get to move around the map more. Both have pros and cons I just happen to be primarily a top laner 😁
love the vid :D !! question: why do you get oracle asap? i rarely get oracle, but i always see higher elo people getting it when they first base. why is this?
Glad you enjoyed! Main reason is to know if enemies see you when you go for W into combo on someone or into a full engage. Gives you much better engage angles if you Oracle first to remove their vision of you (you don't need to kill the ward) OR to stop you from doing an engage that they see you that could end up pretty badly
What are your thoughts on blackfire and cosmic drive core? Ive found it a good way to kite in chaotic fights since the removal of her movespeed on passive proc. I currently hit diamond with a 80% wr with it. Maybe itll drop off in effectiveness later
so my remaining question is: how does the removal of eyeball collection change what rune page you should take on any given game, if at all? Wondering if the drop in damage is enough to warrant more games to be a Aery/Comet game
That's an interesting question! Not really, thing is eyeball collection was a big hit or miss rune generally, since you can't rely on it's dmg every game, you don't know how many takedowns you'd get. Real reason you went for Domination besides Electro were the 2 other runes in that tree (sudden impact and ultimate hunter), so no it doesn't change what runes you'd take in any matchup
That said, even though Electro is the universal page, I do blind pick Aurora a lot, so I end up going Aery/Comet in most of my games anyway due to bad matchups :D
"If you want to know why I prefer Ludens, go and watch the guide!" Brother I'm already here would it have killed you to use the 20 seconds to repeat whatever the reason is?
Sorry, I thought it was a cool way to incentivize people to go and watch the guide :D Without going too much into detail I prefer the damage Luden's provides and the good early build path over Malignance. I found that it's more consistent in terms of dealing damage and actually having an impact

Thank you posting Aurora guide content. You seem to be one of the only Aurora mains posting in-depth stuff.

The goat❤
Love the vids! Keep them coming! They are very informative and I learnt a lot. Would it be possible to do aurora vs Viktor matchup?
Even as a professional aurora hater, these guides are good for me to learn how she may play or act in matchups :>
Will you be using Mel Top when she releases? I see we have similar taste in Champions. I love Gwen and Aurora top lane
Haha I might, I'll give her a try when she releases and see, though she seems like primarily a mid laner 😄
Love the video! I would also apreciate some gameplay videos for mid & top. Not a lot of editing needed. ✌
Thank you!
Alright will see what I can do 😊

R u streaming sny time soon? Or just uploading raw gameplay?
Right now just uploading, but planning to start streaming in the near future, will make sure to notify people
@rebrrtt near future = tomorrow. Ok, bro, I'll be there
matchups vs champs such as: morde, ambessa, teemo, irelia, yasuo if you can! will very much help!
