- The player plays as two hunters on Site B. The player has to find Ian and Sarah, who are the only ones who can get him/her off the island. The player must fight their way through the many dangerous dinosaurs that inhabit the island. You are helped by other hunters at some points in the game. Once the player finds Ian and Sarah, he/she must help them get an injured baby Tyrannosaurus rex to their trailer to be looked after, and defeat its very angry parents.
You control one of two rangers, whose goal is to find Malcolm and Harding.
Players battle dinosaurs by disabling them with tranquilizer darts.
The game features five levels based on environments from the film, including a laboratory and a workers' village. Four of the levels feature a boss battle that must be won to advance the game. Boss enemies include Tyrannosaurus, Deinosuchus and Carnotaurus. Velociraptors are also featured as enemies throughout the game. Pachycephalosaurus, Compsognathus and venom-spitting Dilophosaurus are also encountered throughout the game. At times, the game presents the player with an opportunity to rescue a human who is being attacked by one or multiple dinosaurs. Saving the human results in the human rewarding the player with either a temporary weapon upgrade or additional health.

i was even lucky to play the special version,it's really rare to find and it's basicaly a different game, i hope one day will be playable.

Welcome to Jurassic Park
The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a arcade light gun shooter game from Sega, based on the film. It was released in 1997, and uses the same cabinet and wiring as the original House of the Dead but the hardware is different, this game runs on Sega Model 3. It's the follow up to Sega's 1994 rail shooter based on Jurassic Park, itself named Jurassic Park.
This arcade blew my mind as a kid. It sucks how under the radar it is plus want to be a remastered/re release officially on PC and Console.
@@keynanmartinez Yea one of the best light gun games ever made,i think licensing for this game is a nightmare, so i can't really blame Sega for not remastering it.
On the other hand, for Virtua Cop e others Sega classics, i'm really mad that there is no way outside emulation to play them, they had the Sega Ages project on Switch that while it had gems, always feeled like a missed opportunity.
