Hi man, striping wires by pliers been hard for me at first i tot is bcoz i dont have strength but this video has encouraged me to practice your technique..thank you
Man, you make that look so easy! I got a pair of marvels about a week ago and can't seem to get the leverage to pull the outer sheath off or I nick the copper on the underside if I do manage to remove it.
Hahah I was the exact same when I first got em. The biggest thing that helped me was keeping the pinching and stripping of the outer sheath two separate movements and then practising that over and over till you get it perfect every time
I use the same pliers but usually end up resorting to banana peel... My problem is there is always more pressure on bottom blade so it digs into cable while top blade barely scores the sheeth, any tips?
Haha sorry mate, don't personally know any sparkie business's hiring but check out this video I made giving tips on how to find an apprenticeship if you're interested th-cam.com/video/dmVRxp1DPII/w-d-xo.html
I am a electrician, I don't do it that quickly but more carefully, you damage the insulation and conductors in this way, stripping with cutting pliers is never good a little too much pressure and you damage insulation and conductors, fast but not better, quality is important to us.
Hi man, can you make a video explaining how is the best option to start solving a fault finding? If there is any steps you can follow in order to solve the problem easy and quick? Thanks

The marvel 200 crosscuts are the bomb . I struggle with standard straight pliers , for building wire especially these are the bees knees

I have the same problem with my crosscut pliers, ended up swapping to pinch cut pliers and it works a charm as they’re equal on both sides.
