I swear, for someone like you who notices and appreciates little quirky details and general quality originality, Red Velvet's entire discography is going to be right up your alley. I'm not just saying that because I'm a huge fan Myself, but after wathing your four previous RV reactions, I'm pretty confident, you'll love it. No other group has really ever done it like Red Velvet. I've yet to hear a group that has a catalogue as diverse, yet they nail every concept and style. Stan quality. Stan Red Velvet 😉

Vocally its fine just not my favorite thing by them, production of it can sound fine to some but it really is missing some depth throughout the song. Just one of those songs that did not click with me but at the end of the day we all love different music :)
🤣 I agree to disagree, I love fun in music but that does not mean that every "fun" song is a banger. I am no hater lol and especially not for fun, I am just very unbiased in my critiques even with the groups I love the most

Can't wait for you to do the other albums!! And you will notice how the older songs Wendy and Seulgi is at the helm in belts and vocal runs then it gets sparsed out to the other members as new releases came. That growth really helped them be more versatile.

Maybe you should start paying attention to the lyrics (you don't have to interpret to us) when you are listening to a song, it could help you like a song even more. Base on my experience, It helps me. Sometimes, there are cases, you will know why it sounded like that when you actually look at the lyrics of a certain part or even the whole song. It's like understanding the meaning of the song with that sound, and how it is compatible with each other. Example for me personally, Cool World was a meh song for me when I first listened to it. But when I tried to watch the lyric video, I immediately fell in love with it and became one of my favorites. That's how great music is in it's whole form. Hoping you would actually try it too. If not on video, maybe on your personal time.
You know, I think the lyrics helped me get the feeling of Cool World more as well - it doesn't immediately connect to me on a musical taste/preference level although I didn't dislike it it wasn't an instant favorite, but then later I just enjoy the vibe so much - and I think the vibe I get now when listening to it was affected by the lyrics in this case.
I pay attention to the lyrics anytime I have them on screen. But for me the lyrics don't help to enhance a song with backing that I am already not feeling. For example. I have sang and performed many songs personally for all reasons and events. A lot of them have lyrics that are quite good but the musicality is lacking. At that point if I were looking to have beautiful words to listen to with a deep message , I would listen to a beautiful poem. I know in my reactions I may seem disconnected at times but I honestly am locked into the song that is playing in every sense. I respect the craft to much and the group to not, but each of us is different when it comes to what drives us to like a song🙂
@@TJKReactsss this is generally true for me - although it can make a "mid" song into a "good" song for me IF the lyrics feel like they are very tied to the sound of the music. If they aren't then it can make it even worse hahaha - and it won't save a song I don't like. No chance.
