I keep noticing that those people in the front row with masks clap hands only when Sun Yingsha wins a point, as if Chen Meng is not from China. Don't you clap for a good play, whoever does it? The shouting fans are very annoying. Chen Meng shows great perseverance, confidence, and stays calm, way to win.

Once again, in the world of table tennis, the Great Wall of China is standing tall and strong. In this tournament, it did what it was designed to do: keep out all the "barbarians" for a clean sweep, winning everything on offer. 😂🥰 Congratulations to the women's champion Chen Meng the big sister and the men's champion Wang Chuqin the human tornado. The gentle giant Franzi put up a good fight, but Wang was just a bit too much for him to handle. Kudos to Wang for being humble in victory and Franzi for being gracious in defeat !!! A big Happy Birthday today to Wang and wish the birthday boy many more happy returns !!! 🎂🎉
Many great Chinese players failed badly. It was suprising to see how bad they are performing at this tournament.
Frans weaknesses is TOO LATE to get back to his condition …like this match …. His comeback was AFTER 3:0 ….many here just believed that he would be finished at 4:0 in a straight row…

while those Chinese players just STAY INTACT
THEIR(non Chinese players) IMPROVEMENTS IN THESE 2 YEARS ARE JUST INSANE !
Not just those Japanese players but European and Indian players all performed SO WELL ..:that even crashed many top Chinese players
Frans also showed a really strong blocking technique that Wang could not return back …
He had his way to deal with Wangs strong smashing a … which s many top Chinese
Players unique strategy/ plot to gain points directly in the games
Yet Frans should improve his consistency and accuracy… if he can do this … he would be EVEN BETTER
We shall see a new era that Chinese dominance is no longer to maintain in this 1-2 years ..in case team China cannot come up with a better solution to their loses and their stagnations

I have to say that in this modern Era, sport is good. There are only winners, and there are no losers in general. Compare this to wars going on right now in the world. In wars, there is no winner. Pretty much everyone is a loser.

Great finals, happy to see Chen Meng win, and Patrick did as well as could be reasonably expected.
I just wish the commentator(s) could tune it down a bit. Most people who watch here, are table tennis fans already, and my guess would be that many of us play actively as well.
WE DON'T NEED THE RULES EXPLAINED every friggin' 3 minutes!!!
Nobody else does that.
In no other sport, even fringe sports at Olympics etc., have I ever witnessed this constant, repetitive, and pointless reiteration of rules all the time.
Sometimes, less is more, and the commentary is totally dispensable anyway, as evidenced by the fact that there is none on peripheral tables or in early rounds.

Great Wall of China is not scared of anybody except Felix Lebrun. Using china's penhold, and RBP, he will destroy this wall one day. I could be wrong also. He is world no 5. Rest of Chinese defeated, only 4 more to defeat.
My favourite players are Chinese players.
My all time favourite is Wang Hao.

Frans should train up his KILLING PLOT ( BH diagonal flick) AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE He should drilled it’s (his killing plot) ACCURACY and PENETRATING POWER ..also his FH is not strong enough
He MAYBE A THREAT TO WANG if he can improve these 2 critical elements
當然frans 可以再練反手準繩度高一點
對角反手是他的絕招
正手要再加強
可以的話練練走位速度
走位的確比國乒和其他亞洲球手慢
