@@ksjlb2612 I love that ball, but there's been a rather difficult learning curve. I haven't bowled in 15 years, and Let's just say that the Ghost Widow is not very forgiving of mistakes... Lol
@@kill3stdayz910 With mine, I have to move a little more left and send it right. It all depends on your style and the lines you play, but that works for me. I do extend my target further down lane to try to minimize mistakes on jerking it left or having it break too soon as well.
Which lanes? I see the Oklahoma shirt. My lanes are Heritage in OKC about 2-4 times a week. I am actually about to get this ball but want to use a different pro shop. Which lanes are you at>?
@@ksjlb2612 I may have to stop in and get some work done on this ball I am using now. Last shop did some not-so-great drilling and tired of messing with. I am looking for a new shop to take new balls to when decide what I am going with. It is s toss up right now between the BW 2.0, Ghost, or a Purple Hammer.
@@jasonsmith3537 you may need to decide what you want out of the ball as those two are polar opposites. The upside to the 2.0 is it is asymetric and will hook a ton. Some have had issues where they need to change the out of box surface to make it do what they want, but not too uncommon. The upside to the Purple is it is smooth and predictable. It is a two piece construction like the original Hammers of the eighties and nineties. Being urethane, it will try to grab early but will not have the backend punch of a reactive albeit this ball is far better than most modern balls. I actually average better with the Purple and the BW Urethane than I do reactive, but I learned to bowl in the urethane era. Some of those who complain about urethane may not really know how and when to use it, but that is a discussion for a different forum. I would purchase both if you have the means. Brunswick did apply for names of new urethanes, but it is hard to tell if they will come stateside or not. That would probably be a late winter release.
@@ksjlb2612 Yeah, I was watching the vid and you both seem to take the same line (ver close) and same amount of hook that I do.. I am a lefty but I don't use the entire lane to hook. I stay on about the 15th board early and have a very gradual hook and then at the back end it catches hard. I am rolling a plastic ball with just a puck in it and can overhook it really bad if I catch the dry stuff outside... I figure watching a ton of reviews on this Ghost and seeing a straighter line used on many that this one is in the neighborhood for me. I have a video up on my channel (recent) that shows the line I take. Sometimes I adjust of course but it is my base line. Tried bowling cross-lane last night and the plastic ball just can't cut back fast enough. My thing is, I don't throw very fast.....unless the chronometers are off at my lanes..
@@jasonsmith3537 I have a purple hammer very good ball just dont use it on soaked lanes 😂 bc u will not do good on soaked lanes with it. (Unless u know where to stand ofc) thn u might MY hammer hooks a lot on somewhat oiled lanes but it doesn’t hook at all on soaked lanes 😂 then again my hammer is drilled for a lefty an im a righty 😂 but I bowled a 279 with it the way it is so im not changing it. I bought it off my friend bc he couldn’t control it 😂
Just ordered my Ghost Widow today!
I can't wait for Saturday!
How did the Ghost treat you?

I bowl out of Oakwood Bowl in Enid, but I do all my ball work with Anne Marie in Edmond at Boulevard Bowl.
