Since I didn't empty it, I didn't add any oil to it. The only other video I've seen using this technique said you don't need to add oil. On the he 1500 mile trip I took after replacing the seal everything felt and operated just fine. If you empty the oil out look in the shop manual for the correct amount of oil to put in. I would get a funnel with a long neck to add oil.

From what I have seen on other videos as long as you were not having lots of oil going out you don't need to all any more.
