    I am a nursing student. I have to say when we were learning about TT I was pretty skeptical. I won't say I fully believe in it now (although EBP does show huge amounts of data to support this), but what I WILL say is..the mind is powerful. Holding a patients hand, stroking their hair, rubbing their back - can take a pain number from a 7 to a 4. I have witnessed pain leaving client's eyes first hand. It may be a placebo effect or it may not be, but my question is, does it matter? If a person is in pain and their pain is significantly reduced, isn't that what we want? Isn't that what were striving for? If I have to run my hands over my patient and carry their pain away to take away one ounce of their pain, you can bet I will always do it. Thank you for this experience! I truly enjoyed the video❤

      That’s a good point but as Ross Gannon says, it’s really a scam if you’re being charged for it. I could have one of my family members do any of those things for free, really. Soft motions and actions like this are very relaxing in an ASMR type of way, and I also notice that most TH-cam videos about subjects like this have people with soft voices as well. It’s mostly a relaxation appeal.

      Read the research - as a nursing student you should be looking at the evidence. Even the WHO - World Health Organization has a position statement on Traditional Medicine. If you do not know what is current and the research behind it you shouldn’t speak as if u do

    • @yyzeco

      @@DragonflyWay Did you read this WHO's position statement about Traditional Medicine? Because Traditional Medicine is nothing like therapeutic touch. It pertains to Traditional Knowledge about plants' medical properties and traditional uses of these plants. I mean in a part that can have any therapeutic effect on patients. The rest actually can be even dangerous or at most cause placebo effect. SO actually you please read first before you write nonsense.

I did some healing to your upper body, I did some healing to your spine, lower back, and ankles. I did some healing to your emotional well being, and I did some healing to your mental body. I did some healing to your endocrine glands, as well as healing to past memories adversely affecting your present mindset. You may not feel anything at the time, but 90% of the people I have healed will feel something within 24 hours. Make sure to drink plenty of water of the next 24 hours, as toxins from the healing will be flushed out. I hope you have a wonduhful response to my healing you.

    Allow me a tangential argument:
    By providing someone with caring, non sexual touch or physical attention (something that is not expected to be reciprocated) this reduces stress. Reducing stress, even for a short period of time, releases dopamine, slows all those anxious neurotransmitters, and that is where the medical benefit lies.

    I’m curious what the training curriculum is for these types of treatments. How do you demonstrate to a student what congested energy feels like?

    • @ZeroGravity60
      @ZeroGravity60 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ash :) The training curriculum? I'm a self taught energy healer who does basically the same thing as you see in this video. Energy healing is a gift of an awakened soul. We all have a soul and therefore we all have the potential to develop the gift of energy healing.
      While we live in a temporary mind and body in a physical realm reality, the truth is we are eternal soul and spirit. We're designed to have a foot in both the physical realm and the spirit realm at the same time. Few people have woken up to this reality so they focus all their consciousness on the physical body and the false and accommodating mind. Once you learn how to become fully conscious and one with your soul you'll begin to feel and learn the interesting language that comes from energy vibrations.
      That's what a psychic is: One who is proficient in the language of vibrations.
      Psychic ability is one gift of the soul while energy healing is another. However, a degree of psychic ability must be acquired first before an energy healer can be considered effective.
      NOTE: If you want to become an energy healer start by developing your psychic ability.
      Once sensitized to a variety of low/high vibration energies you'll soon be able to establish an educated guess on reading where the blockage is, how big it is, and if familiar with the energy body design, you'll be able to identify how the energy blockage is affecting and playing out in the clients physical mind and body.
      When healing a person in person, your energy aura is interacting with the energy aura of your client and this gives you the ability to touch and manipulate energy in them. While most energy workers work in person with their clients, it's both possible and easy to extend your aura to cover the whole earth making energy healing by phone or skype possible. Expanding your aura is just another to be learned lesson in the ever-expanding field of energy science.
      [You can live in the woods while servicing the world.]
      While you can learn basic energy healing in a matter of months, [Lots of practice required] it takes a lifetime, okay, years, to be really effective. Energy healing is very much about self. The more we dive inside ourselves, the more we become one with the true condition of our soul, the more we self heal, and the more we become a better/cleaner vessel to help/heal others.
      Energy healing has come a lot further than what's exposed in this video. I myself have been seriously involved in this field for 26 years. I'm a qualified energy body psychic surgeon. I don't operate on your physical body, I only operate on your energy body. [It's a long story.]
      Anyway, energy healing is an exciting field and one well worth investigating if looking for a fun and rewarding career. Jacqueline Kern, the healer in the video, knows what she's talking about.

      @@susanlynn6545 Hi Susan :) Yeah, sorry, I don't have a website. While I publically practiced my own developed style of energy healing up to the end of 2018, because what I did included diagnosis and surgical treatment, I was told my style of healing could/would eventually lead me into legal trouble including the possibility of imprisonment.
      [I am not a licensed medical doctor.]
      I specialized in healing lungs and sinuses, breathing problems, up to and including healing those with asthma. It's a shame I can't legally practice my art commercially but I still do energy research. My present studies focus on the identification and development of individual natural vibration medicines.
      My goal, to make available vibration medicine in the form of silent tapes that target and heal specific ailments. With me not physically present in the healing process and not charging for these tapes, I should be able to escape the heavy hold pharmaceutical companies have on the North American health industry.
      I'm an energy body psychic surgeon. I both diagnose and rightly claim the ability to heal people. Both are highly illegal acts in today's world. So, I continue as an energy scientist with the ultimate goal of working around the present laws.
      While I'm in the process of developing vibration medicine tapes I, unfortunately, don't have healing tapes ready for market at this time. I do expect to release my first tape, a free lung and sinus healing tape for breathing problems, in early 2022.
      Thank's for the inquiry and stay tuned because just like in so many other fields the advancements in energy healing are both amazing and exploding.

      Galaxia2928 I have studied under an energy healer who hardly ever touches the client. It's about your individual awareness and sensitivities, and what modality of spiritual healing you have been given. Some see colors, some hear sounds, some can just sense the energy shifts.,,, it depends on how the energy is communicated to you. There's more than one way to do this.

      Laura Jones it’s about a placebo effect, and it’s a quackery scam. It’s a brilliant way to rob people of their money with hippy bullshit that requires nothing but waving your hands around them like an idiot pretending that you’re a magician. 👋~~~~🤚
      “Ooh, I can feel the tremendous heat radiating off your heart center, I shall linger my hands towards that, and your pain will diminish.”
      _(30 seconds later)_
      _Wwwwwshshshshshssssshhhh._
      “Done! That’ll be $450 please.” 🤓

      @@SunBunz a lot of people don't charge for this. i don't and never will.
      it is an act of love/agape and i feel it should be freely given.
      i don't judge those that do though. but personally i think it would be less effective.

    • @SunBunz
      @SunBunz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@faithnelson6069 I guess I could hover my hands over someone and pretend to have magical powers to be nice, too. But like the majority of the population, I need to work for a living and prefer to donate to charity instead of BSing people.
      EDIT: Ok, my comment sounded rather facetious, but I'm just a realist, and I just don't like dishonesty and fake cures. If what you do appears to help people, and you do it for free and they think it helps, more power to you, as long as people don't make false claims. But I'm not here to tell anyone what to do with their lives, of course.

    • @faithnelson6069
      @faithnelson6069 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SunBunz i'm glad you edited your response. i have no patience for fakes either. again, a lot of people don't charge and never will. maybe it is a placebo effect or maybe it is just the fact that someone would offer an act of unconditional love? i took my cue from a long-term neighbor who would do massage on AIDS patients, well before there were any sort of remedies.
      he didn't cure anyone, but he did make them feel better and more accepted by society.
      think of the healing of a simple hug, and you will be close to the truth of the matter.

    This is just a different way of a spiritual healing. The instructor never said this is the only cure don't go see a real doctor. She said it can help and yeah it's mind over matter, but really that's what its about.

      Even doctors do not cure us, our bodies do. What we do in hospital is to align the body and it is your body that does the healing. Hence why some people still die.

    So it’s not really a “healing method”. It’s more like a way to soothe anxiety and relax a patient so that actual healing is easier. Makes sense. It’s still not something that should be charged for, I can get any one of my family members at home to do this for free.

    I use TT. I'm an RN. When I took my course my partner in the class was a Russian physician who had used TT before.( In combination with his medical experience) He could since the heat from my upper right abdominal area. He had no idea I was being worked up for a fatty liver or type 2 diabetes. Was it a fluke..I don't know..TT makes you feel relaxed and if it does that what does it hurt. It should not be used as a diagnostic tool..just comfort and the patient has to agree to have it done to them.

    I think the pseudoscience used to explain this is utter bollocks, but someone giving someone undivided attention and empathy undoubtedly has a profound effect on the recipient's mental well-being which in turn has an effect on our physical well-being. Obviously, you're not going to cure cancer with this, but making a person feel better mentally has to be a positive thing. Just don't big it up with gobbledygook.

    I was exposed to TT many years ago. I had the honor of assisting my 12 old child through her post open-heart surgery recovery. Major heart reconstruction, a titanium aortic valve inserted, pulmonary bypass and relocating the center wall to make room for the valve.
    Nurses and my husband watched as my child's blood pressure would even out for a time following the treatment. Many shirt sessions . She was home in less than 2 weeks
