I love my coiled, compacted vertical. I don't like rings either. My C.V. is my ride or die. I love the monthly planner, too, and have thought very seriously about doing what you are doing, but I just love the compact vertical too much. Haha. Also, I never know what I am doing until I start to decorate. I don't use kits. I just use whatever stickers I have. I usually Happy Planner ones
I'm using petite planners and made up my own weekly page on left side for appointments, errands, & meds. The opposite page has quarter sections made with a decorated box, tracker box, M-Su box and 2 smaller boxes for priorities and phone/mail. I wrote in the constant goals in the tracker with couple spots to add temp. ones. I put headers and stickers that I use every week. Then I copied 6 months' worth of them. This is 2nd month and I love it. Not so much writing of the same things but I can write in and add more stickers. I do use a notepad separately for a running to do list that is not day or week specific. Coil clipping a partial or full page in may work for you to write on instead of the wet erase. I'm with you on making it all simpler and not duplicating if I can help it. I enjoy seeing what you are doing and changes you may make.
Your petite planner system sounds so cool! If I ever work outside the home, I would seriously consider doing using a system like that for portability. Thanks for sharing!
I took one look at the rings when I first got into planning and already knew it was too fiddly for me. Reminded me too much of being in school with my 3 ring binders and pinching my fingers.
CV is my absolute favorite layout. For now, I need more room so I’m using a 7x9 vertical. I use the snap in dashboard for reference info I want visible. Ideas: meal planning ideas, projects, goals like the Powersheets tending list
Are you going to attach the inserts when the week is over so you have them for your flip through? I guess I'm asking in case you end up liking this set up
I use my planner every single night. I dont live by a schedule so anything can happen with each day so I guess I back plan my days I mean at the start of the week ill layout a sticker kit and use my sidebar as to what I might want to do for the week or notes ect. then as the day finishes ill write what I actually did . I guess I can say Im a Gypsy lol just live life as it comes . sometimes I do crave more structure but then I look at my life that im blessed and no one owns my time but me and my family.
I like how you are game to try different layouts but still know what works for you. 😊. If you do like the compact vertical, could you draw it out on a 2 page spread?
Could you attach the insert to the front of the folder and remove when done with it? That way you could add information easily to the insert if needed.

I love that! Keep using that beloved CV until it stops working for you!

Girl, you KNOW I got scared when I saw the ring agenda 😂😂😂 You knew what to lead with. I also love how you ended up using them. So good! ❤
😂😂 Sorry for the fright! Thanks for watching, friend!

I love looking at everyone's beautiful rings set up but yeah, it's just to finicky for me 😅

Sounds perfect! So far I'm not liking how bulky it is. I hate to be so picky but I wish it was just a page protector 🙃

I could totally do that! 😊

Yes that could work!
