Lingotto was a testing truck over a FIAT production plant, built around 100 years ago and not anymore in function. The building is still there and hosts a mall, offices, restaurants, a hotel and an art collection.
Yes, it was. I live near Turin and i saw the Lingotto recently. Now it's a commercial area with many types of shops. It has also a cinema and a hotel. The old track still exist and It became a garden
NHRA cars engine wasn't made to be used for more than 5 second even if you made a car to withstand it, these engine sacrificed all of its reliability for the sakes of power.
There was a race between a drag car and a Next-Gen NASCAR Cup Car with the former being modified to fit the track’s conditions that THE WIND TUNNEL did on the channel. I think the video was called “Top Fuel Dragster vs NASCAR at Monza”
Do you know Miseluk in Serbia? Even crazier than Palanga. Inside the Nardo ring there's an handling track that looks like a Mini Nordschleife that's pretty cool too.
The original Lingotto rooftop test track features briefly in the getaway sequence in the film The Italian Job from 1969. It is now Europe's largest roof garden
Interesting track choices, horrible car choice. A modern F1 car? Really? Why not reflect the type of car that would (or would have) actually raced there? A DTM or Super Tourer on Norisring, A NASCAR in LA Coliseum, A GT3 on Palanga, A FIAT on Lingotto, 50s Grand Prix cars at Zeltweg and Monza, Pre-WWII Grand Prix cars at AVUS etc. That would not only have shown the circuits by themselves, but it would have taught people, who are unaware of a certain track's existence about what's actually raced there.
What's your favourite racing track in the world?
Pocono raceway spa Bahrain Daytona
Bathurst
Autodromo Oscar y Juan Galvez (Buenos Aires)
Nurburgring, Nordschleife
@@theslipstreamer06mine too😅
2:11 Hamilton's nightmare is back
“ my back hurts”
That track would make drivers’ dental bills go sky-high.
LA Coliseum: "AND I CAN'T GET MY CAR OUTTA SECOND GEAR!!"
NASCAR couldn’t get 55 there f1 maybe like 75 mph
@@Averageracingfannascar hit 83 there
@@98DogCcoin maybe my numbers are wrong idk
ucla needs to make a racing team they'd have home field advantage
UCLA plays in the Rose Bowl, not the Coliseum.

finally some recognition for the Palanga Aurum 1006km
Yeah crazy race
As a Lithuanian I’m very proud lol

Palanga and Norisring look like a track from Forza Horizon lol, I remember watching a reel where GT3 cars were racing there
Yeah they still race there today it is a cool track and makes a lot of fun to drive in raceroom too
Remember Special Stage Route 7 from Gran Turismo 5?
Palanga is basically the micro version of that xD
Very accurate
Imagine a championship with only these tracks in the calendar!
it would be cool but Zeltweg airfield is gonna leave many drivers with hurt backs
Lance stroll would fucking die going of that incline
the coliseum is Monaco but 20x worse
And here i thought Sebring was bumpy.
0:05 1960s The Italian Job memories.
I love this movie, my dad let me watch the movie when i have 4 years old (i'm 2000's) and the Minis driving for all Turin was amazing

cars not trucks
Which track must feature in Part 2?
Eldora Speedway.
Phoenix Park
Ehra-Lessien test track "Volkswagen's super secret circuit"
Pescara
Knockhill and Cadwell Park
Combined Monza is epic...
It’s crazy how Nascar managed to make a football stadium look small.
Imagine how big Daytona, Talladega, Daytona and Pocono are 🤯
@@THEWINDTUNNEL been to daytona and on the track, i must say it is MASSIVE
NAH the next race is at BOWMAN GRAY
not just a Footbal stadium, also an Olympic grade stadium
The thing is most of these tracks are real (or were at one point)
For a track that was notoriously hard to overtake on, Carlos Reutemann sure did get overtaken a lot here in 1981
Over 100 mph on a quarter mile oval is insane.
The LA Coliseum shouldn't really be on this list. There are other 1/4 mile tracks, Bowman-Gray for example, that NASCAR has/does race on
The special thing about the LA Coliseum is the fact that it's an American football field-turned racetrack.
@@KitKitChanIsaac I know that you mean that the track is temporary, but to be clear Bowman-Gray is also a football stadium

Wasn't lingotto a test track for Fiat?
Yes, it was. I live near Turin and i saw the Lingotto recently. Now it's a commercial area with many types of shops. It has also a cinema and a hotel. The old track still exist and It became a garden
Is it possible to do a race with the NHRA Drag Racing Car vs. Indycar (Oval Course AND Street/Road Course) on the Monza Combined Circuit?
the dragsters can't turn or re-accelerate, they have to brake using parachutes and the engines are basically one use
NHRA cars engine wasn't made to be used for more than 5 second even if you made a car to withstand it, these engine sacrificed all of its reliability for the sakes of power.

He's done it before lol. That's the beauty of racing games, you can realistically do unrealistic shit
@the_ultra_robot6884 Exactly. So it can be done.
I liked Monza Combined Circuit, that's where Monzanapolis took place (which is a good suggestion for a video, using contemporary and modern cars)
Imagine if there's a huge crash at Lingotto
You wouldn’t need to call the boss. There’s also dozens of backup cars available
Can yo do Turismo carretera vs NASCAR please 🙏🏽

Hell yeah
You should make a video with the w11 but with grooved tyres and the f2004 with slicks
F1 in Monza needs the CART Speedway Kit. 🎉
If only tracks like this excited irl

Palagna is like super similar to a track im mini motor racing X
The G forces on the banking at Avus 😂
Next experiment nsx JGTC vs gt3 class might be interesting
Zeltweg Airfield, the least bumpy Indycar track.
😂
Do you have a link for the First Track pls?
PALANGA MENTIONED RAHHHHHHHHHH
Lingotto looks a lot like one of the Scapes locations in Gran Turismo 7.
Nardò ring... Better known as "Porsche Research Center", near Lecce, in the South of Italy
missing Linas-Monthlery, Miseluk and Mobikrog
Norisring is a good track for GT3/touring cars
I agree, the F3 races were fun too although a bit too chaotic
Palanga circuit mentioned🔥🔥🔥
What's this game called
Assetto Corsa. The car and tracks are mods.
gotta love the og Las Vegas GP
just crazy, if you drive on them with an actual F1 car...
Buenos Aires Street Circuit 2012
I've been to Lingotto one. It's on top of first Fiat factory
check Togliatti Ring
And FX RACER ?
How is Norisring crazy?
It’s very unique
The most crazy track is the special track xx. (Not that crazy tho)
