- Harry Giles ("HG") is a 6'10" man-child from Winston-Salem, NC where he spent most of his high school career at Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, NC. At Wesleyan, HG won a state championship alongside teammate and current UNC wing, Theo Pinson, even though HG missed most of the season with a torn left knee. Currently a 225 pound, 18-year-old freshman at Duke University, Giles will likely be the next in line of one-and-done candidates for Mike Krzyzewski. Before committing to Duke, Giles attended Oak Hill Academy but hurt his right knee during the first scrimmage of the season and returned home to finish his high school near family. HG is a super skilled big-man with the frame and athleticism that should separate him in his match-ups, especially towards the end of the ACC season. More than just a basketball players, HG is a great person too; always taking opportunities to help and connect with the youth in our communities. If Giles stays injury free this season, don't be surprised to see him come across Freshman of the Year honors or even mess around with ACC Player of the Year. Drafted this kid from the downloadable draft classes in 2k as the Timberwolves and this kid formed a big 3 alongside KAT and Wiggins they were unstoppable for years winning 5 championships, 4 of them back to back.

He's obviously has the most upside in this upcoming draft because of his offensive versatility , explosiveness an handle for a big , but his frame is questionable he will get pushed around If he don't bulk up also his knees have up on him twice with the 2 acl tears before he even got to the league ..

Dukes whole bread and butter is versatility. Ex. Elton brand. Great video tho
his last surgery was a scoping of his other knee. his ACL tear from last year is completely rehabbed properly and stronger than before and healed. they went in earlier this week to clean up the other knee so they are both clean and fresh. 6 weeks is the worst case. Theyre actually thinking along the lines of 4. Either way he will enter into his CBB career with 2 rebuilt and stronger knees, with no structural damage.
people need to get their facts straight and quit insinuating that he is "hurt" again, when thats not the story at all. He is already out, season hasnt even begun, and going forward he isnt going to really have the time to get another procedure done. After this season its NBA combine, and draft, and then to work for whomever drafts him, then summer league, then NBA season starts. Get this taken care of now while there is an open bubble of time, and put it all behind u.

If he can stay healthy I think he's better than Simmons. Way more moves, softer touch, more athletic. Simmons is a better passer but that's all he's got on HG. This dude is a once in a decade type talent if he can stay healthy
