Can you guys please ask modeler users about their signal chains still? Which pedals do they use? How do they run them into their amp models? Etc. I love those parts of the rundowns and not having them with modeler people makes the videos less interesting. A visual walk through could be cool too. Maybe plugging a computer into the model and doing a screen capture so we can see the flow. Just ideas.
@@Ottophil I run two different tube amps into my axe FX (with load boxes) and use them as primary amps, as well as a single amp with an X/Y switch inside the axe fx. I route pedals with different pathways in the axe fx, while also using internal axe fx effects within certain patches. All of this is done with very intricate FX loop routing, and axe fx scenes that basically act as a midi switch with built in FX. If all of that is boring to you, then you aren't the average guitar player. Most of us nerd out on that kind of shit, and it is pivotal in seamless switching during a live situation.

it's really fun watching this because I asked a ton of the same questions when I saw them in Orlando. From the pickups to if he was profile switching for songs to if they prefer having cabs vs monitors for stage noise, to the teal stingray falling face first onto concrete and still being perfectly okay. Love this.
I would like to be on hallucinogens while looking at that guitar. I love the finish, and it also reminds me of being a kid in the 80s and 90s living in Seattle. The Enchanted Forest was an amusement park under the space needle. They had a motorcycle ride that went in circles. Kinda a boring ride, but each of the bikes had sparkles on them. They looked very cool at night, and that's what that guitar reminds me of.
I just finished watching the newest RR with Anthrax so this was surprisingly good timing, Fluff is definitely one of my favourite guitar-based channels so it was super cool learning more about his gear with DU. Great as always, guys
On the topic of Helix, I saw a muse tribute band using one which made me get a pod go. I then sold this and got a HX stomp and now a year later I am using a Helix Floor with a HX Stomp through an ABY Box which allows me to play guitar and bass at the same time with my band "Half Cut Mind". Works great!
I'm so glad Fluff said that about the dry stage sound. Been to gigs where there no off stage sound & I'm sitting slightly in front of PA & it sounds dead. Like it could use some side fills even would have helped.
Yup, I have a Dual Recto full stack that is now basically great artwork in my studio room. Been Fractal for about three years now. But, in full disclosure I was an 80's thrash era rack baby, I just came full circle with the Fractal.
Malibu Gold is actually a direct copy of Riverside Gold, a Colour Chevrolet used on their late 60s Corvettes. Named after the famed International Raceway.
Both of you guys have just got very nice haircuts in this video, I'm looking at the fade on the side of Ryan's head and it's a very nice clean fade. Looks like you both just got out of the stylists chair and made this video. Who does your hair?!?
The Metal Zone was the first pedal I bought and it was 100% because it had Metal in the name. Honestly, shame on the music store guy for letting a naive teen waste $100 bucks on it. Should have told me to grab literally any other dirt pedal lol. I wish Fluff would do a video on how to setup a stereo blend like Dustin's setup. I've been trying to do that for years with hardware. The easiest way I managed so far was with a Yamaha THR100HD and a stereo volume/pan pedal like the Ernie Ball Jr. one or the RFX 402P but those were passive which has volume drop at the midway 50/50 position. I eventually found an active pedal, but the Yamaha head just isn't loud enough when running the head in dual head mode. I'm torn between trying it with a Helix vs. Quad Cortex.
The Metal Zone can sound good, just not really for what Guitar Center teens probably want it to do, which is give them an effortless high gain sound that's good. Not happening lmao Kirk Windstein makes great use of a Metal Zone as a boost in front of his Randall heads.
Crap I didn't know you guys were based out of Seattle shit I'm outta Olympia and used to play the Seattle area all the time post covid playing live shows is pretty weird not as many options as there used to be hell we've had to pass up good shows just cause one guy wasn't fully vaccinated so lame

Take a drink every time I say ‘uhhhh’ 🍻
Can we just please get a signature music man already. Mr. Sparkle would look incredible in my studio....
Bro, I’m drunk!! And yeah, we need the single pickup option available for everyone! All the finishes!!
@@HeyItsAsmus so he DOESN’T have one, right? I’ve been looking for one lol
🤘🎸🤘
I did. Now I'm drunk. Thanks Fluff "Ryan" Bruce

That sounds so boring
@@Ottophil it’s the exact same thing they would do if they had analog equipment. You don’t need a tube amp and pedals to make music anymore.

Let’s see the rig, hear some patches. I finally started to fast forward. 😂
I give this rundown 3 out of 5 Beards!!🤣😉❤
The pick drop 😂 Fluff just accepted it.
Once the pick has entered the void, that's all you can do. Picks exist there; along with missing socks and Tupperware lids.
I never realized how tall Fluff is. I've only seen him sitting down in his videos.
been following fluff for years. awesome guy!

Fluff is a lot taller than I realized from his videos!
Fluff is just a great dude
Usually I don’t find the rig rundowns with fractals very interesting but this was great. Fluff is such a tone genius
Hahahaha. I love when fluff drops the pick lol. Just a mix of horror, embarrassment, and acceptance in a Nani second.
John Frusciante rig rundown? The Chili Peppers are amidst a World Tour currently and with Fru coming back, it’d be legendary!!
I actually had an '81 Monte Carlo painted that copper color. I'm partial to the firemist silver Sterling used on the Cutlass and Ray34 bass.
I was at this show. Can confirm it sounds great

Bass Rundown series? We like to show off our gear too. Just keep a rag handy because we tend to drool.
The way fluff describes fractal, I’m wondering if he’s used snap shots through helix, as it’s basically the same thing
The haircut. I can’t 😂
Big fan of both of these channels 🙏

Those G&L guitars kind of look like the slab bodied, Mosrite Mark 2s..except that they don't have long horn on the bottom like the M2s.
Lol. Im the kid in the CME shirt
