Until now two new ABBA songs have been known, both different in their themes and leading voices And both have the ABBA trademark on their solvency in musical composition and production
We know the great spirit of perfection that Björn and Benny impress on their creations, and both new creatures live up to their great successes of the 80s.
So the biggest mystery was to know the state of the voices of Agnetha and Frida and how they could react to the inevitable passing of the decades and their possible comparisons with previous classics.
And I must also say that they both look very good
And in that "look" there is an extraordinary job of caring for Björn and Benny to "take care" of their historical singers, partners and former partners. They gave them two wonderful songs, with beautiful melodies and deep lyrics, but they were also surrounded by the iconic hooks and the appeal to emotional nostalgia
"I still have faith in You" is an unpublished song in its conception in the history of ABBA
because it is self-referential about them as a group,
and it is also testimonial, because they tell us about their experiences in all this time
Musically it is a ballad, mystical and epic
A stately and majestic piano, and Frida's soft voice conducts and recreates ABBA's story with poignant beauty,
with Agnetha joining in some verses to emphasize
The sound of the drums arrives (a nod to the mega hit "Fernando") as if preparing the change of rhythm
And with a powerful guitar comes that first unpublished chorus, because this time all ABBA sings from the bowels of its history and with the strength of its testimony of life, of healing and togetherness.
And in the second chorus, even stronger, it becomes very clear that ABBA sings with the passion and courage that Björn's excellent lyrics stand out, it is like a triumphant song of their survival and their bond And it ends with a solo by Frida, flawless, with the flutes at the end
Also isn't a commercial song (more than 5 minutes) it's so emotional, with a fantastic vídeo of all greatest memories of pictures, official videos of 70s songs and Australia tour 1977 and London concert 1979
ABBA really comes back at high level
    The world needs ABBA sound

Thanks for the ABBA. Yeah they really knocked it out of the park with this one. If anything age just adds more power to Fridas vocals. Another masterpiece added to their catalog of many. Sweden should be proud.

Björns (Bjoerns) lyrics in this song is very powerful. He told in an interview when he listened to Benny playing on the piano this melody, that; " this song has to be about us , ABBA " . Bennys melody creation is just on top for this story telling by Björn. Fridas deep mezzosoprano and matured voice is perfect here. Agnetha ( Ang-neta ) comes in on higher notes now and then and of course in the usual chorus.

Thank you for a very honest, touching reaction to this beautiful bit of musical history. As a man in his 50s, ABBA were the soundtrack to my formative years, and their quiet disappearance in 1982 was no fitting closure to the career of this group who have affected, and still affect, so many lives. The hope of a return diminished to the point that it would seem absurd for them to do so in their 70s. But come back to us they did, sounding all the better for their older, more seasoned, voices. Hearing this song with its epic layered melody, Frida's warm sonorous voice, and THOSE harmonies again for the first time wrecked me....when the Abbatars popped up, I thought my time had come. I have shed so many tears over this song. As I've said before, ending the video with the most perfect logo in pop history rightly embedded in cosmos was a stroke of genius. It does my heart good to see someone much younger just get the beauty of this masterpiece as much as I do ....thank you Loveth

Beautiful song and probably my favourite track on Voyage. It's just pure Abba, and this song is up there with the very best of Abba. Your discussion is spot on and you show deep understanding of the lyrics and the song meaning. Thank you for a delightful reaction.

You know ABBA is much more than music. The more it penetrates your soul and heart, the better person you are. Tears cleanse the soul and after a song like this we become ourselves, full of love. If everyone knew ABBA's music, there would never be another war... Am I an idealist? Maybe... I have often thought and felt that the members of ABBA are not human but angels. God sent them to Earth to make the world a better place.
