Home atlast. We all grew up in Elwynn Forest because I know I did. Its nice to revisit home from time to time. Reminds me of where we Alliance human players all started, takes us back to our roots. I remember the days of killing boars, retrieving Gold Dust and Candles, From fighting the murlocs to fighting Hogger as you begin heading towards Westfall. Good ol days and many memories. Even the nights of peaceful fishing and mining. A nostalgia and reminisce. Ill also never forget the purging of the mindless undead scourge within the Plaguelands up north, When WoW was in its prime and actually felt like there was a true threat! Ill always love WoW, just abit sad with the past few expansions which has trashed so much of the LORE and feel to the game, I do like War within, dont get me wrong, But it was a refreshing start! I just hope they've learned from the lessons of the past and that they also take and listen the to Fans/Players more often. They have so much potential! That they CAN bring World of Warcraft back and they've proven it time and time again. There is a reason why I have a real life Ashbringer at my home. I have The Ashbringer comic too and many of the other comics that has been made. I've been so depressed in my life that at one point, World of Warcraft is what took me away from the pain and helped me escape when times were tough. That is why World of Warcraft will always have a special place in my heart, the only thing that hurt me the most in World of Warcraft, was what they did to my boi ARTHAS!

It is weird because the game literally almost looked like this when it was all we had, the graphics were amazing at the time. It was the same with the Diablo2 remake, I did not remember it looking like a pixelated blob, it looked crystal clear when I played the game as a child and I felt right at home when I launched the remastered version, they changed some things that they should not have touched but it was still awesome.

This is what we thought WoW would eventually look like in 20 years back in 2005. Instead the game industry decided to focus on Fortnite and mobile style graphics. We need small time game studios to rise back up. This mega corps have stagnated the industry.

Games don't need more realism imo. A major point of playing them is escaping reality. I would rather have wow 2 be oldschool graphics rather than these modern hideous retail wow player models
This is absolutely amazing. I just want to say that I hope you keep on creating these types of WoW remasters. They bridge fantasy and reality in a way that is incredibly healing for ourselves but also society as a whole. There are many of us who remember this game with such loving memory and as others have said, this is rather close to the way we feel for the first time. I also want to mention that I am using this remaster in a part of a video on my own channel because it fits my theme quite nicely. I will be pointing my small community to yours as I think they would all appreciate your content. Please continue your work, I'd love to see what Stormwind or Theramore would look like.
