Even with inflation, a base Wrangler should be in the low 30’s. An absolutely fully loaded V6 Wrangler should be under $50k. $71k+ is disrespectfully overpriced. Don’t get me started on the $120k Jeep SUVs 😂
A lot of auto parts are coming from China and they leave something to be desired. Sometimes OEM is the only way to go, especially if you are buying something electronic.
Agreed. I miss the days when you could buy a car/truck without all of the high tech gadgets. Everything manual, and simple. And if I wanted to pull the complimentary AM radio and install a nice sound system, then that was up to me. I miss the days when an average working man could afford to step on a lot and find a decent used car/truck he could afford. Those days are long gone.
I saw that video by Dustin the towing guy who got a call to tow a Grand Wagoneer and it had like 400 miles on it. It's a great video and nice to see his channel getting a shoutout here. The owner of the Jeep barely got it home and then had to have it towed back to the dealer in the first 2 days of ownership. If that's NOT an indication of poor quality then i don't know what is people. I a huge fan of their styling but i would be way to scared to even buy a used one at this point due to their reliablity issues.
I saw another video on the same vehicle, but it had air bag issues. No sooner had the owners gotten the front ones fixed, the rear ones blew out! Just plain pathetic. I would NEVER buy one of those.
My wife loves those Jeep trail hawks. Had one in 2018, garbage. Brand new and within 12 months, everything was going wrong with it. Junk. Got rid of it. 2023 she wanted to try again. Told her they were garbage. Same garbage she had before. Within 12 months, most of the vehicle parts have been replaced and it continues to come up with new ways to shock us and fall apart. Just more garbage Hopefully, she’s finally clued in.
We had a 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk with the 3.2 V-6. The wife loved the thing. The oil filter/cooling housing is plastic and it cracked at about 72,000 miles. We lost 5 quarts of oil going down the road before the check engine light came on. We ran out and bought another one before they stopped making them. This was had the 2.0 turbo with the conventional spin on oil filter.
Keep up the videos, it’s time these executives know that we’re fed up with overpriced cars being sold by greedy delusional dealerships that stubbornly refuse to lower prices and make cars affordable for us working class folk
it looks like the land cruiser fj-45 of the past...it's not quite as rugged as the fj-45 but the gladiator still one of the most robust mid sized trucks you can get in the west.
Watching from the UK. Why are jeeps so ugly especially when America used to make the best looking cars ever. At least Land Rover are better looking but are as unreliable as Jeep.
When the EV mandates go away next year, they can put the $100K prices on the EV’s, no gov’t kickback, and watch these prices plummet. They still will need to extend the warranties for most people to buy them.
Stopped at a red light today next to a Nissan SUV. As I looked at the door panel, just saw orange peel in the paint. I know, different company but? Seems common.
Last month I was looking at two 2024 brand new refreshed front face f150’s. The plastic trim around the headlights had a big gap because the trim was popping off. I pushed the trim back in and it kept popping back out on both of them. The quality is so bad. One of the trim pieces looked it it wasn’t even smoothed out after molded at the factory it. It had jagged edges and it looked like it didn’t even fit correctly.
stellantis fair value is $31, nearly 3x current shares price. currently sitting at their 52 week low. next ceo is going to have his work cut out for him. vehicles still overpriced. will probably cut production and jobs but carlos got his $100m bonus before leaving. good luck to us peasants expected to buy their cars for more than our mortgage payment. i mean, if we have been paying attention to your videos, we could have bought one of these jeeps buying puts last week.
Don’t worry in 5-7 years BYD will be here and their EV’s will start at 9 grand they will destroy the market and force competitor’s to bring down their prices or go OUT OF BUSINESS !!!!
I see college students DRIVING HORNETS! WHY? I am very sure they have students loans too, but you can't fix stupid. Hornets make ZERO SENSE for ANYONE to own at the price they're at and even anyway. JUNK! Alright rant over but seriously I about threw up when I saw one just TODAY in a college student parking lot.
Stellantis is so dead unless they correct these out of control pricing on very sub par products. Stellantis doesn't not make luxury products.....you have priced yourself out of the market.
There’s really no amount of money that I would wait for the price to drop to buy any Dodge product. If you want something four-wheel-drive and off-road capable by an old Lexus GX. You can literally get several hundreds of thousands of miles out of them
I would never buy anything made my Dodge. There are news reports with video footage of Chrysler Union workers driving to their Union park area drinking beer and smoking M.J. in the parking lot. Then these same workers drive back to the Chrysler manufacturing center.
Jeep needs a BOGO Free Deal lol
They used to have it. Buy a truck, get a neon free.
Very poor quality. Allways at bottom of the reliability reports. I'm stunned they're still in business.
Not a single car on that lot is worth more then 35k
does anyone actually take their 70k jeep offroading?
Nope😂
I would offer 60k
@@jaysonship124Then you’d be offering too much. Several months ago people were getting $20k off. These days are even worse for them.
Not necessarily off roading, but I often have to take it off the road
lol I feel like I should get a corvette for 70

75k? 🤯 it is only worth 25k! we need to go back to our roots of 25k 💵
I called dodge parts dept. today with a transmission Pan quote for $165. Same part on Amazon for $35.

100's of thousands of jeeps if not millions across Canada and no one is buying that junk
Dodge, Ram look good but only skin deep. I would of thought by now theyd make better cars, trucks.
My wife loves those Jeep trail hawks.

How does the MSRP go from $36K to $55K, what are they adding?
LED taillights and a bigger touchscreen. 😂
BS....
Inflation

Those “truck” jeeps look goofy.
it looks like the land cruiser fj-45 of the past...it's not quite as rugged as the fj-45 but the gladiator still one of the most robust mid sized trucks you can get in the west.
If Jeep had ever found a way to drop a V-8 in them, they would of sold like hot cakes in my opinion.
Decades later Jeep is still pushing that tired old ugly grill. Can't imagine why anyone would buy one of these pieces of shlt for any price.
Thanks for the laugh....grill or no grill they make nothing I'm interested in to begin with, Ram trucks or Jeeps.
At least their styling is unique
Watching from the UK. Why are jeeps so ugly especially when America used to make the best looking cars ever. At least Land Rover are better looking but are as unreliable as Jeep.
Absolutely madness when it comes to prices.

Hybrid models have blue tow hooks
Which i avoid @ all costs

I had a scrambler back in 83’. This was before kids ducked them up.
I just want a base vehicle
Maybe if they have a buy one get one free then it will be worth it lol
Great idea! Keep one just for parts!
the fact they haven't replaced the pennstar v6 yet is baffling to me. i drove one and the lifter tick was unbearable with less than 30k miles
Take that dodge and shove it, more so the jeeps. They are total junk.
You could get a 2019 SRT for 68k msrp. And they now 65k for 4XE. That used to start at 33k for a Lerado E.

Had toys cars like these in the 80s the shells pops right off exposing a metal frame&4wheels.
I’m looking to get back into a rubicon but around the 2020 year model. These new prices are out of hand.
Be sure to have a used Jeep checked out. There's a lot of cowboys and half-butt mechanics lifting them and beating them up off-roading.
71k for that plastic front bumper....Hell no not me
In 2025 you can no longer get the V-6 3.6 unless you get one with a manual tranny. They all come with the 2.0 turbo now.
Don’t worry in 5-7 years BYD will be here and their EV’s will start at 9 grand they will destroy the market and force competitor’s to bring down their prices or go OUT OF BUSINESS !!!!
