Whats the difference in lv 50 vs lv 100s league? Wouldn't the stats be exactly half n therefore the same? or is it that the stat growths are variable n theres more variety of stat spread potentials?

People could get more used to one or another (if you play vgc or OU smogon), so having both means you can play with what is comfortable to you

Damage rolls are a bit different. The showdown calc example of Abomasnow Blizzard on Abomasnow is 50.4 - 59.8% at level 100, but 51.5 - 61.8% at level 50

A lvl 50 format is generally a little faster paced because the damage rolls are higher than a lvl 100 format. So basically at equal levels, lvl 100 mons are a little bulkier/do a little less damage than lvl 50 mons.
