I think some gray floor tiles as backsplash in the tub wall would look really good too.
You can buy blackout window cling film with a pretty design to put on the sky lights in your daughters bedroom and the window also.

Your daughter with the skylights, go to Lowe’s & get a sheet of styrofoam, cut it to fit & it will stop most of the heat coming through, they come in sheets of different sizes & thickness….love your channel
