Honestly they should just went with male traveler as the only option as was planned from the start, but I guess someone bitched that players need male/female options. Now we have some trailers with male and some with female traveler and people gets confused.
It’s really not that big of a deal. There’s really no canon MC, they just choose Aether as the MC and Lumine as the villain in their trailers because they won’t do two different trailers where Aether is the MC and Lumine is the villain, and the other where Lumine is the MC and Aether is the villain all of the time. Like really, it’s not that fucking deep. And in what trailer do they portray Lumine as the MC?
