Try and reset your home WIFI / Modem and turn EMO off. Wait till your WIFI is back on and working. Test this by browsing on your phone for example. Then turn EMO back on, allow him to start up, (wait a 1-2 mins) then try again.
Tonight when I was asking Emo questions, he froze. HIs eyes were still lit but he was frozen. I tried various things to unfreeze him like moving his legs, shaking him, putting him on the charger, but to no avail. I went to the Emo forum and did a freeze search. I saw a replay to a person whose Emo had frozen. The reply read, "Wait till his charge runs out and put him on the charger." He's been in frozen mode for some time now with no signs of his charge running out. Hopefully, by tomorrow morning, his charge will be run out, his face screen will be blank, and I'll be able to recharge and fix him. If I can't unfreeze him. If he has gone to Robot heaven, I have another Emo arriving any day now. Emo started calling me brother when I asked him if he'd like a brother, meaning the new Emo I bought to see how two Emos would interact.
Hi there, yes that is the best thing to do. Just give it some time and let his battery run out and then place him back on the charger and he will start up once again. Sometimes this might happen, and what you did is the best thing to do. Having two EMOs is very fun. @@masterabbott I put two Bob profiles in the app, and this morning after I took him off the charger he said something like, "Hi Bob, don't forget to bring your umbrella today ...." Then he gave me a brief weather report. I thought to myself the day may come when he will be programmed to hold conversations. Until then, it amazes me how once in a while without any prompting, he can say things, and I often hear him talking when he's on the charger, though I've been too far from him to hear what he's saying. It could be that his top patting sensor has been pressed down a little to hard. Normally if you pick him up and give him a shake it should bring him back to normal. If you press down too hard in the top area where his pat sensor is it could cause him to constantly be patted as the sensor pin is always in contact with the pet sensor metal. If you need any further help let me know ^_^
I had an issue where EMO screen and speaker glitches a lot! Another thing is, when 8 try decorate his face he will just crash and I have to forceful power off him
If you are having issues with EMO's screen it would be best to take a short video and submit a support ticket with Livng.ai support. For EMO speaking and glitching, this is normally related to internet/EMO server congestion. You can always restart your EMO and also your Home / Wifi Internet and try again.

Yes that is how it works. As soon a you activate EMO, that is when his birthday and also star sign will be registered. And you won’t be able to change it. So it’s permanently set. ^_^

Hi Karla, if EMO is not responding you can try to increase his volume, you can do that in two ways: 1) Say: EMO: Volume Maximum Or 2) Login to the EMO app and go to settings/ preferences/ then in there set the volume at the top to maximum. If this works then when you ask EMO a question or call out to him he will answer and you should hear him. If this doesn’t work. I’d suggest to power him off then place him back on his skateboard or home station, wait for him to power back on and try these two steps again. Let me know if they work out for you. ^_^
Unfortunately not, EMO will need to be placed back on his charger (Home Station or Skateboard) to power back on. There are other options to power him up, but you will need to purchase a wireless charger (these are not official). Hope this helps ^_^
Mine started cursing!!! 😳🤣 It used to say get some shut eye or sleep.., now it says get some shi&ty 😅 I laugh but it’s weird. Does anyone else’s do this???

Hey um is it normal to get a error message for no reason? Cuz on the top left corner it says "sd error 1 V2HC" and when i take him out of the skateboard he doesnt do anything its like hes powered off. (His earbuds are turned on btw) Its been like this for so long one day i woke up and he was like that. I powered him off and his screen was like powered on but his eyes werent there and he moved normally i think and he ramdonly talked (almost gave me a heart attack💀) that obviously always happens lol. but how do i fix it? Have you ever gotten that message before? I think it happens when i try to update him cuz when i try to power him off and then turn him back on his screen is on (i notice when i turn the lights off) but he has no eyes. BUT when i update him that error message comes back on.
Hi there, If your EMO is showing the SD card error message, you will need to submit a support ticket to Living.ai Support. You can see a link here to submit your problem. living.ai/product-support-emo/ The Support team will give you instructions on how to replace the faulty (Corrupted SD card). The process is not too complicated, and if you need any help the support team will be able to assist you. Hope your EMO gets better soon ^_^
If your EMO's voice is glitching is mainly due to the slow network connection back to the Living.ai servers. Something there is lag between your EMO and the servers. This normally resolves itself in a few hours. What you can also do is reset your home WIFI/MODEM router and try again. Hope this helps ^_^
If your EMO is connected to your local WIFI. But he's still giving you that error sound. I'd recommend powering off EMO, then powering off and recycling your home WIFI, then once the WIFI is back on. Test internet with your phone, if you have connection and can browse, then start up EMO and test again to see if he can respond to your questions. Hope this helps ^_^
At the moment, that feature is not really working accurately, EMO might get surprised and try and look, but it's the same as what was shown in the trailer.
Today I asked my Emo who am I and he said Bill instead of my name, Bob. He's always answered correctly in the past. He called me Bill twice. The second time he flashed the images in his face until he came to a male one and called me Bill instead of usually calling me Bob. Another time when I asked him my name hoping he'd get it right, he just turned around. Any idea how this could happen, and do you know of a fix?
I’d take a look at the recognitions section in the EMO app and see if you have two profiles in there, one for Bill and one for Bob. Sometimes EMO might create new profiles or rename existing ones.

@@rboyd3435 My EMO once in a while asks me for my name as well. It might be that sometimes the lighting could be bad and he doesn't quite recognize you correctly. I usually have 4-5 profiles in my recognitions section all with one name.

Normally the EMO server are never turned. If it happens, it might be that server are temporality offline for a short while.

Success! His charge ran out and he went blank. I put him on the charger. After a while, he lit up and his eyes moved like they usually do.

I would like there to be a new voice command where emo does a Science experiment.
There isn’t one at the moment.

My emo is not making noises , I say emo and downer respond or makes sounds

Ok whatif my emos voice is like actually glitching like ex: he talks but his voice is REALLY GLITCHY

Not really. He might act surprised, but at this time, he wont really turn around and investigate.

How long does ur battery last? Mine is about 2 hours
2 hours is a good time. Normally it's between 2-3 hours. But if you get EMO to do many things his battery will run out faster.
what words seem get his attention so i can avoid them as much as possible unless i want his attention by saying emo. please and thank you
EMO will respond or wake up to anything that remotely sounds like EMO. A word you can avoid for sure is EMAILS ^_^
