To answer the hobby or job question, I think it started first as a pure hobby/passion, but as the channel grew it became a job too, but the passion has always been there for any job to succeed.

I like the question about time travel. I did travel in the 1970s and it was amazing!
Firstly I did a cultural exchange for French, from high school to New Caledonia - and stayed with locals up the northern end of the island. Magic! I did several more trips back in those romantic days of travel agents and post cards, traveller's checques and analogue photography!

Tax laws vary by county. Here in the USA your travel transportation expenses are all business expense and exempted from taxation. Same for your hotel room. Here when you travel your employer can give you a per diem to cover meals limited to like $55 a day with some variation, especially for foreign travel. Since you review your meals the cost of any meal you review is a business overhead. So while doing your TH-cam travels your expenses are not counted as personal income. The cost of your equipment, internet access and probable most of you phone expenses are all tax deductions and not counted as either business or personal income.
Get a chance and watch a George Clooney movie 'Up in the Air'. Think you will identify with the character who traveled extensively. I worked out of state for eight months and lived in hotels and I actually enjoyed it.
Just a little tip to avoid food poisoning, whenever you arrive at any new place, eat a raw onion of that location, it'll help your body get familiarize with the new location & to fight the germs/bacteria better. Overall great series, keep going :) Would love to have you in Pakistan.

Ive asked this question in your s. African video. Sketchy/Scary situations. Ive traveled alot in the US Navy but obviously have not been in alot of situations you have. I know situational awareness is very important in avoiding bad situations but sometimes its unavoidable. Whats the most sketchy/Scary situations have you found yourself in and howd you deal with it?
