The Stryker fight was a surprisingly fun deal. Even if we weren't directly helping the objectives toward the end. Well- unless you count diverting enemy reinforcements as we acted out the ending of Fury. :P
i was there! Is me, Teseł 27:28 I came back because Lusod and the other guy were still back there. other guy got wounded, shot who i could and dragged him back score got completely overshadowed by the next guys, but at the moment, we were proud of doing well also blown up the downed heli. no points, just because. i had charges and was determined to use them at least once
I feel like losing points for the Stryker was a bit unfair. I agree that they wouldn't get points for extracting it because it wasn't at base, but considering that it was actively being towed and was past the US checkpoint saying it was just abandoned in enemy territory isn't quite right either. Edit: Thinking about it for a moment, an argument could be made that it was Intentionally Denied to the enemy. I mean it's not like it's going to be salvaged by enemy forces.
It is more important that the same rules apply to all teams than arguing about wether or not the rules (that all parties have agreed upon) are correct.. Then again, that's just my views on the matter. :)
@@Nordorf in this instance. There was one point seperating the winning team. We would have granted one bonus point for denial to hostile forces of the disabled vech And turned this game into an tie breaker. We could have watched them go head to head to rescue a VIP first!
if any criticism was to be made, the map is really unpolished (even by arma standards). probs shouldve used a vanilla terrain still love this idea and the vids themselves though, glad we’re finally getting them on youtube
I like this team. They’re more coordinated and use everything they have to their advantage. Somewhat thorough too. Just they cut it too close at the end, they should’ve started hauling that Stryker sooner, or tried to genuinely sling it.
I don't think they should've lost the 5 points for the second vehicle destroyed, as even though it wasn't recovered in the base to regain points, it wasn't 'disabled and left in the city', which is the written criteria for them to loose points.
I would argue that extracting the machine from the city 'denied it to the enemy' instead of disabled in city. Or else fits into some middle catagory. Technically it was in secured territory and could be recovered at their convenience. Certainly not full recovery points, but probably denied to enemy points would make sense.
@@fernando47180 denied to enemy is +1 Recovery to base is +3? So logically getting it out if the AO but not to base should qualify for the +1 if not a +2. But it wasn't considered a possibility so I would just award it the minimum bonus of +1, as opposed to being punished for leaving equipment for the enemy.

While I really enjoy this format and this video is better than the first as you’ve iron out some of the technical issues that the initial video suffered from the commentary between Rimmy and Barbarian is still a little bit of an issue for me. Rimmy is a strong personality, it’s why he does so well with the twitch and youtube, but, along with the fact he is in control of the main feed he’s the one dominating the mic with Barbarian chipping in at points with observations or simply just agreeing with what Rimmy is saying and for the most part he’s silent as he watches the feed. I’m not sure how to fix this, or if it really needs to be fixed, it’s just that if you have two commentators it seems like a waste if the second one barely speaks. I just want to be clear, this is something I noticed with both vid’s, I’m aware that Barbarian had covid for this and he manned up and still did it instead of knocking on the head and staying in bed, prop’s to him, but with two vid’s to go I just hope the two get a better split for time on mic. Also, both Barbarian and Rimmy have both caught covid now and seemingly kept going, what is it with twitch streamers that makes them keep twitching?
30:00 I find it funny how much the enemy commander needs to be babysat, what with running through enemy lines in round 1 and now running off a ledge and cracking his skull. I'm starting to see why rimmy says "civies will eventually kill themselves" Damn though, its always quite annoying seeing teams miss one or two points because of little pedantic things. I get rules are rules, but feels a little bullshit

How easy is it to get started with this kinda game and gameplay? I think this is something I would *really* enjoy being a part of; working as part of a cohesive team and completing challenges. Only shortcoming is my lack of familiarity with military terms and such, but I could learn. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

That's what I was going to say. Perhaps it's not fully extracted, but it is definitely "denied" to the enemy.
Yeah I agree, a conditional argument of denial to enemy, even if not fully recovered, should be counted as a partial completion at least.
