A helpful tip, since Loctite recommends using their primer when the metal is coated (nearly everyone doesn't know this, I've found through discussions), use VC3 instead. VC3 doesn't need a primer and is cheaper.
I just got mine in the mail today. Got them for about $11. Definitely sacrificed some quality but it's just for airsoft so what the hell they look cool. Haha😂
A hack to make these sights really great would be to swap out the rear sight peep parts with A1 rear sight steel parts. The adjustment wheel and the spring would be greatly improved and it would only add about another $30 to the cost. You need punches to remove the current parts and install the new parts. I am thinking of making a video of this upgrade.
@@tacticalUnboxingsReviews yep I did it to my knock DD sights and it worked. They really don’t hold up like the real deal but hey it’s a good budget option or if you want to test out before committing to buying the real ones.
@@tacticalUnboxingsReviews went good I actually got the parts directly from DD. I emailed them and asked if I can buy the replacement parts and they sent them to me for free lol. I bought the real deal shortly after.
@@tacticalUnboxingsReviews oh I did have issues with the small leaf type spring/detent that DD sent out to me so I used the one that came with the knock pair.
Mine have actually held up really well. When installing it the sight was a little to narrow to fit on the rail so I had to push a screw driver into the base to widen it up a bit. Now it is a snug fit. I haven’t been too rough on them so they might not be perfect for your main rifle but they sure look cool and are usable.
@@ignaciosx I am sure the actual DD ones are better. These don’t have steel for the sight adjustment. I do like them but the DD are worth it if it is on a serious gun.
@tacticalUnboxingsReviews ok, I see. Thanks, I wanna get the daniel defense, for a (survival type rifle build) and it's between the daniel defense iron sights or the magpul pro ones, not sure which route to go, but thanks for the response bro!!
@@ignaciosx I haven't used the Magpul pro ones myself. They look good though. For a survival type rifle a fixed sight might be more durable than folding sights. Unless you really don't like having the fixed sight in your sight picture when using a dot. Either DD or Magpul is a good choice. The DD sights do have a second cool factor (they look so sweet).
They're even selling them with the patent number written on the side. Lol

It’s insane how these $30 sights are almost the exact same as real DD sights that cost over $130.

@@IMABEAST191 Oh really? That is sweet! How did the swap go? Was it worth it? Did you have any issues with the sight?

how did they hold up after shooting?

@@tacticalUnboxingsReviews I would be disappointed if they outlasted! outperformed the original dd, since I'm considering buying a pair of the dd.
