Thank you for sharing this w us! I have done them once before like this and they turned out so delicious! I can’t wait to have these so early this morning in time for breakfast w some over easy eggs, chorizo and a fresh tortilla con mi cafecito ❤
Hi friend, I have been thinking about redoing this video. That time was right for me and my pressure cooker. Although, I did have someone say that they needed to go a little longer with the time. Some pressure cookers can be different than others. It is just like how some ovens can work differently. I have been thinking of making another video, the same way, but going about ten minutes longer just to see.
I always buy my pinto beans in cans because it takes so long to cook them, but this looks quick and easy and if you make a large batch you can always freeze them. Thank you Rosie.
Hi AMV, I have friends from California visiting me this week. One of them has a special diet that she has to follow. You know how it is, a lot of things that she cannot eat. So, I made her some beans, because that is on the yes list. I needed to make them fast, because they take forever to cook.. And that is why I made them in the pressure cooker. Lol
Thank goodness for your VIDEO because we weren’t sure what was happening in our pot when the timer was just circling and countdown hadn’t started yet! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!👍🏾😍🤩
I love how you explained how to use an automatic pressure cooker. I have an Instant Pot and they work the same. I will be following your method to cook pinto beans. Thank you for sharing 👍
Hi Alma, thank you for your nice words . These instructions worked perfectly for my pressure cooker, but there was someone who said that they thought they needed a little more time. I would say to be safe, maybe cook them ten more minutes. Perhaps there's a difference between the ninja and instantpot.
Hi Brian, some people drink the juice like a broth. If you are mashing them to make refied beans, you might want to add a little juice depending on how thick you want the beans. Thanks for stopping by!
Make sure you tag me, so I can try it. My beens turned out good but we’re a little firm I prefer a little softer. Next time I will cook a little longer
Hi friend, when I made these beans, they came out perfectly. I did have a few people say they needed to go a little bit longer. It is just like your oven, some ovens are hotter than others. I would follow these instructions. If you need to go longer, do so. You have to work with your individual ninja. Good luck!
I've been afraid to use mine for the first time because I was afraid of blowing up my kitchen! haha Thanks for the easy to follow video.
Hi, friend, thank you for stopping by!
The best explanation I have ever seen, thank you
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for the nice comment!
Hi Ericka, I really appreciate your nice comment.

You are so welcome. TFW!
Thank you - that was easy to understand, I'm going to try it! The beans look soft/perfect!
Will definitely be doing this. Pinto beans is one of our favorite dishes and I haven't tried them in the Foodi yet. Thank you!
Hi Valerie, I did this on a whim. They came out good. And just like roast beef in a Pressure Cooker, I was able to make them fast.
So love the freedom from soaking overnight!
So true my friend! TFW!
Rosie, you sound like a school teacher! That's exactly what I need! Great job! 😊
Hi David, i'm glad I could help!

These look delicious! Yummy yummy yummy! I will have to give it a try instead of doing it on the stove that takes forever! Have a beautiful day Rosie
Hi Britney, pressure cookers are amazing. 45 min for a pot of Pinto Beans. 1 hr for pot roast. Thanks for watching. Hope you're doing well!
Very good video. Loved it. Thank you
Thank you for the visit!
That bean juice gets sprayed everywhere. I cover the vente with a kitchen towel.
Some country ham pieces or bacon really gives pintos a flavor boost when you pressure cook them.
Hi friend, definitely some great ideas. Ham and bacon. Yummy!
Some CRISCO takes it to the next level
Nice! Do you consume the water or discard it?

How long does it take to build up pressure before it starts cooking timedown? 🤔
Hi Friend, takes a while. Around ten to fifteen minutes. Good luck.

Luv the easy Beens recipe , can you do Spanish rice for insta pot
Hi Karen, yes you can. I haven't made Spanish rice in the Ninja. I will have to try it. Thanks for the idea!
Make sure you tag me, so I can try it. My beens turned out good but we’re a little firm I prefer a little softer. Next time I will cook a little longer
