    I've been afraid to use mine for the first time because I was afraid of blowing up my kitchen! haha Thanks for the easy to follow video.

      Hi friend, I have been thinking about redoing this video. That time was right for me and my pressure cooker. Although, I did have someone say that they needed to go a little longer with the time. Some pressure cookers can be different than others. It is just like how some ovens can work differently. I have been thinking of making another video, the same way, but going about ten minutes longer just to see.

    I always buy my pinto beans in cans because it takes so long to cook them, but this looks quick and easy and if you make a large batch you can always freeze them. Thank you Rosie.

      Hi AMV, I have friends from California visiting me this week. One of them has a special diet that she has to follow. You know how it is, a lot of things that she cannot eat. So, I made her some beans, because that is on the yes list. I needed to make them fast, because they take forever to cook.. And that is why I made them in the pressure cooker. Lol

    Will definitely be doing this. Pinto beans is one of our favorite dishes and I haven't tried them in the Foodi yet. Thank you!

      Hi Valerie, I did this on a whim. They came out good. And just like roast beef in a Pressure Cooker, I was able to make them fast.

    I love how you explained how to use an automatic pressure cooker. I have an Instant Pot and they work the same. I will be following your method to cook pinto beans. Thank you for sharing 👍

      Hi Alma, thank you for your nice words . These instructions worked perfectly for my pressure cooker, but there was someone who said that they thought they needed a little more time. I would say to be safe, maybe cook them ten more minutes. Perhaps there's a difference between the ninja and instantpot.

    Some country ham pieces or bacon really gives pintos a flavor boost when you pressure cook them.

    Nice! Do you consume the water or discard it?

    • @RosieCooks
      @RosieCooks  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Brian, some people drink the juice like a broth. If you are mashing them to make refied beans, you might want to add a little juice depending on how thick you want the beans. Thanks for stopping by!

    • @RosieCooks

      Make sure you tag me, so I can try it. My beens turned out good but we’re a little firm I prefer a little softer. Next time I will cook a little longer

    How long to cook if beans are soaked?

    • @RosieCooks
      @RosieCooks  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi friend, when I made these beans, they came out perfectly. I did have a few people say they needed to go a little bit longer. It is just like your oven, some ovens are hotter than others. I would follow these instructions. If you need to go longer, do so. You have to work with your individual ninja. Good luck!
