We already don’t have enough grocery options after the city of Oakland moved here after 2020. Can only imagine trying to shop at Smiths if this occurs.

One word: Haggen! For those who might not remember, Albertson's some years ago was required to sell stores. Haggen a somewhat small regional chain purchased the stores and promptly closed them after about a year. Albertson's came back and purchased some of them for pennies on the dollar. One Von's store at Boca Park is still dark after a decade but 99 Ranch Market is set to open in that space.

Who shops at Smith's or Albertson's? Have not been inside either in well over a decade. For those who love eating shelf stable, factory produced ultra processed foods both stores will meet your needs in consuming deadly foods.
