We married late. My wife had our first at 39 by C-section; our second at 41 by natural birth - both sons. They are now grown, in perfect health, with brilliant careers. It can be done.

About 3 months ago, I was in line at the checkout lane of a grocery store. I was right behind this couple who were discussing this very issue, or I guess you could say they were actually debating it. As a general rule I don't evesdrop on people's converations, but given their proximity from way, litterally right in front of me with only the length of a grocery cart between us. That's what maybe 3 or 4 feet away? That, coupled with their debate of the pros & cons becoming louder by the minute, I couldn't help but to have become an interested bystander. Because of the big shit eating grin that had by this time parked itself on my face from their great debate, the lady noticed I was hearing a lot of what her and her boyfriend/husband? were saying, so with a touch of frustration in her voice she finally looked dead at me and out of the blue said to me, "so what do you think, should I have a baby after 35"? I immediately shot back a response and told her "oh hell no mam, 35 kids is more than enough in my humble opinion."

You said in the end that pregnancy after 35 is wonderful for the baby and the mother...But other doctors say that after 35 baby can have many abnormalities. So i have reservations about this statement of yours. But i must also say that you made your point easily understandable...I hardly ever understood Australian cricket players English. But your accent is so clear to my ears...
    Thank you
