A fairy-tale movie breaking an age-long fairy-tale cliche and the protagonist repeating a quote that the villain said to her at the start and now at the end of the film?
Legit one of the best fairy tale movies ever made!❤️

And my oh my! How the tables have turned on the queen.

I’m confused
Karma stabbed Clementianna back in the end mainly because she never even cared about the price of using magic, as long as Snow White was dead and the Prince was easily married to her no matter the cost in “her story”. She ignored the magic mirror’s warnings of using up too much magic upon innocent people.
And now, she’s being quoted the exact same thing that she told Snow White at the beginning of the movie which is “it’s important to know when you’ve been beaten. Yes” and now that the queen’s been ousted from the throne, it truly WAS Snow White’s story the entire time.
Yet, Clementianna was too arrogant, careless and jealous of Snow White’s beauty to even bother knowing of Snow White’s rightful inheritance of the throne.
This movie was a mess
Hey, it’s not the most perfect retelling of Snow White, but it’s one of the best non-Disney retellings to date.
Sort of how people like the 2003 live-action version of Peter Pan. Far from perfect, but a fun Peter Pan retelling.
@@Beanie-Inkling2749, the fact Mirror Mirror is heavily underrated but Snow White and the Huntsman obviously isn’t is a major crime imo.
