So far this skill has felt super strong and the only potential weakness would be single target but thus far I don't see any signs of it slowing down. Versatile as fuck as you can build it with many Ascendancies and gear/weapons.

I have a Voidforge Vaal Double Strike Pathfinder in Standard, so I swapped over to Consecrated Path and it maps infinitely better, and also still does comparable damage to bosses. Thanks Mathil for the video highlighting this skill with Voidforge so that I could have the idea to swap to that on my character.

Robert Glade could you show me your gear on a profile or so? Im going by a chieftain build but I feel like there is dmg missing cause the build creator one shotet the mobs on t16 and I aint even oneshoting anything on t7
As much as the "douchebag effect" can make copying your builds troublesome, it's awesome to see how versatile this skill is! I'm probably gonna try ascendant or chieftain and just hit up some stat stick action so I can skip the voidforge price hike all together.

Hope they wont nerf it because this skill gave my so much fun since forever, feeling like D3 Shen Long monk with his miniblink generic autoshot with tons of light damaging strikes in one combo(forgot the name) but so much better. Feels great with grifts PoE edition.
I'm running Scion with Slayer/Berserker ascendancies. And as a weapon Kongor's which is dirt cheap and I'm using Avatar of Fire. And I'm using 3 auto-casted curses. Also destroys all the content with ease, feels stupidly overpowered tbh.

Yeah, I'm always making builds by myself, figuring out a build is the most exciting part of PoE imo :) It's surely slightly weaker than the builds from "pros", but way more interesting for me.
@@DzikaSurykatka honestly, man youll be surprised how many non popular build are strong.. Just read forums and do your own variation.. Not all top builds are from streamers..
I use a double diryani's champion 100% fire convert + ignite with fire impresence and windshriek for 2 curses. not done but doing really great so far. Worthy foe allow's me to pick elemental overload which is great. Very fun build.
I just started a crit DW sword chieftain that's rolling this, and the shits nuts. Roll it this league before nerf!
A quick check in PoB (using same gear):
doing this as a pathfinder is about 20% more dps -> up to 40% ish with balanced resist + wise oak flask since you get more speed already anyway -> drop quicksilver for it (+bonus for immume to elemental ailments is nice ofc) but rougher to path into enough life as well (6k -> 5.4k)
For Inquis its basicly a 40% more for no extra shenanigans (only thing you lose is the minimum 20% shock from elementalist, but the hits are so big you might shock about that hard anyway) no need for wise oak either ^^ also much easy lvler since you start off with alot dmg nodes at the start.
The downside ofcourse is you're gona stick your neck into things you don't want...
Gladiator is also an option, its about 20% more dps -> 50% more with adrenaline.
OR you can go for all the dmg nodes from ascendency, but I personally don't like the way adrenaline has to be triggered, too lazy. BUT if you like it, you can reach highest dps with glad version -> actually up to 75% ish more if you feel like swapping some life nodes for dmg but that'll leave you with like 5.2k hp instead of 5.8k ish, very frisky bizniz) --->>> Gladiator also removes the need of accuracy on gear which makes it easier finding the right gear tho.
Chieftain seems to be similar to elementalist dps, kinda tradeoff getting endurance charges on kill + ngamahu node vs pendulum node + guaranteed 20% shock
Didn't bother checking others but inquis seems the easiest choice. Unless you despite accuracy, cause then gladiator is your man

How does melee phys support interact with voidforges "deal no non-elemental damage"? that support does not seem to be useful to me because i would think "more damage" is useless if that hole damage type is negated, right?
To get accurate PoB damage, you need to do your first trick of separately calculating damage with 300% phys to cold, fire, light, and average the total damage.
The second one is incorrect since more elements hit more frequently than actual and Flat phys is added 3 * more frequently than in the first method.
Too bad PoB can't calculate voidforge damage by default.
You think this could work on a sunder juggernaut? Just respec axe nodes to something else, sword nodes and some crit maybe.

How is your aoe so massive per jump? It looks like ever CP attack spawns like 5-6 consecration circles. Also, what is that yellow vertical beam that strikes when you attack? Really sick build. But as easy as you make it sound to reproduce, noobs like me need a little more handholding. Would be godlike if you could post a written guide for this. Especially for explaining your thoughts on this build direction with other classes (for example I'm trying to make this work on a Slayer).

Anyone knows what herald effect mathil is using? It makes it look like he does once big aoe and then small ones under monsters he kills.
Consecrated Path is really strong. I just don't like the BUG wherein you teleport into a pack of mobs and most of the time enemies near the center still lives even with RESOLUTE TECHNIQUE. Still don't know why GGG won't fix it ffs.
would Beacon of Ruin with the element spreading or Paragon of Calamity with ele leech, extra dmg and ele reflect immunity as ascendancy points be best?
Because Mathil chose Beacon of Ruin and i dont understand why because it looks like Paragon of Calamity is so much better.

It's nice seeing that you're able to get further in PoE off of 5 links, it makes a 6L seem less needed to get to the end game content.

well, so glad I picked up a voidforge for 22c last week and six-linked it.. I wasn't sure what I was gonna use it for, until now..
I wonder if a trickster version could work...consecrated path is a movement skill, so it's free. It deals 50% fire dmg, so all the dot nodes could work with ignite. hmm......

Where is the damage coming from? His pob only shows ~800k dps, but the dps is clearly waaaay more. Where is it? He enabled the elemental damage from it so thats not it.

How would you plug "60% chance for poisons inflicted with this weapon to deal 100% more damage" into PoB? I just rewrote it as 60% more but I feel that's an inaccurate representation.
Sweet! How about something like an Oro's sacrifice? It should pair nicely with elementalist, no?
Oro's is pretty bad, because you can't use many good supports that buff phys dmg, like melee phys dmg and you can't take passives that buff phys dmg.

right, i run CP champion varunastra with stat stick... much faster and more dps :D but good stat sticks are more expensive then 25c :D
Playing as a Guardian, with minion nodes, consecrated path is indeed super powerful and versatile

@@Ditronus. you mean lvl, i'm current low 60s, with self found gear, the skill does good dmg, and splash (without the splash support), and the herald minion dudes also do a good amount of dmg, the actual skill scales with a bunch of stuff, and is kinda cool like he said

late answer but he activates the heralds and then takes them of the skilltab to get more room for other skills
PoB does not account for the 20% more multiplier.
In 3.9 consecrated path uses weapons on both hands.

you definitely could but the tree would have to be changed up and part of the reason traveling to ranger area is so good is because those sword nodes are op and life/crit/jewel right there. and the damage would probably be close to a quarter of this, still good just voidforge is actually insane its a 2h stat stick.

How is it creating mini explosions?
They aren't mini explosions, they appeared on my build after Beacon of Ruin - the spreading of the ailments makes the graphic.
How does Avatar of Fire interact with Voidforge? Does it mean you only do fire damage?
No, avatar of fire with conc path convert all phys to fire therefore Voidforge's gain 300% of phys to random ele does nothing cuz you deal no phys damage.
Your Grandma no, voidforge still counts phys damage that was converted. But void will still roll an element so 2/3rds of the time the added damage will do nothing since you can't deal cold or lightning
