Get a screenshot of your app login where it shows "unexpected error", log in to Facebook in your computer, go to settings, then help, and then report the problem. Upload the screenshot and write about the error in brief. They solved my problem within a week. You don't have to reset anything👍🏼
Resetting network settings and resetting privacy & location worked for me. BEFORE I did this though, I "RESET ALL SETTINGS". This didn't work. Manually resetting the network settings and privacy and location settings somehow worked for me. Hope this maybe helps some people.. Comment posted November 2021
