I watched this whole interview....i would rather have someone equally knowledgeable ask him questions and carefully listen to the reply and counter with knowledge....these couple of goofs from madarsa made fool of themselves by making personal attacks on a prominent scholar out of frustration cause they lacked depth in knowledge and presented no counter argument.....this interview only showed how retarded our madrasa educations is....they brew hate in students for people who have a different point of view from them......no wonder why society is full of radicals

I agree that we all are students but I still strongly believe in hijab and no hand shaking between men and women. It’s clearly written in Surah Nur. Plus it’s sign of modesty and Haya. Logic and Intellect both says same thing.

It's not them who are right. It's the majority of islamic scholars who are right in saying that pardah is necessary and obligatory for women when they are amongst unrelated men. Ghamdi Sahab said that the particular ruling was only temporary, out of his own will. He has no evidence to prove it was temporary. Therefore he cant claim that it is. He conveniently ignored all Hadiths regarding the matters as well. The Quran clearly tells women not to even walk in a way that will attract attention to any jewellery on their ankles. But Ghamdi Sahab says it's okay to display your jewellery that you're wearing. Just one example in how wrong he can be.

I remember the first time I heard this complete exchange and I wasn't even a fan let alone know who Ghamdi sahib... But this exchange in particular hit home for me because whoever can maintain the decorum and tranquility in face of such animalistic attitude has to have some level of knowledge that should be worth praising.. Islam is a beautiful Deen and prohibits us from what is wrong and harmful for us and whatever creates 'Intishaar' in the society. Our Deen permits us unlimited things that are good for us. The more we get closer to our Deen the more we stay safe, healthy, thankful and satisfied. The more we try be liberal the more we will be far from our Deen and may cross the limits and boundaries that are set by Allah S.W.T. According to a Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), I believe it's better not to even go close to the prohibited things because there will be a chance that we may enter in it someday. Crossing the limits of Allah S.W.T means 'Tabahi' for Dunya and Akhirah. Without any doubts, Quran is a complete Guide and 'Mukamal Zabita e Hiyaat' till the day of judgement.

Sadly we as society have not even learned the manners and etiquettes of dialogue and discussion. Salute to Ghamdi sahb’s patience and sensible way of responding to extremely ill-mannered people who came with a pre-assumed mind set of being right.
It's not them who are right. It's the majority of islamic scholars who are right in saying that pardah is necessary and obligatory for women when they are amongst unrelated men. Ghamdi Sahab said that the particular ruling was only temporary, out of his own will. He has no evidence to prove it was temporary. Therefore he cant claim that it is. He conveniently ignored all Hadiths regarding the matters as well. The Quran clearly tells women not to even walk in a way that will attract attention to any jewellery on their ankles. But Ghamdi Sahab says it's okay to display your jewellery that you're wearing. Just one example in how wrong he can be.

It’s extremely sad that these interviewers are quick to judge and quick to become angry. These are the types of people who pray five times a day, read Quran, but know nothing about Islamic history and the importance of kindness and respect. Just an FYI, if you are doing all your prayers and reading Quran everyday and fasting everyday of Ramadan, yet you don’t know how to be patient and calm, your prayers and fasts are honestly meaningless. Muslims are so quick to judge, especially those who lack education and empathy. If I was Ghamidi, I wouldn’t even bother with them. Their ears are deaf and their eyes are blind. I pray to Allah to give these people some sensibility and decency. Why do you think people are drawing away from Islam? Because people like these interviewers make Islam seem so harsh and they respond with such ridiculing and uneducated interrogations. I remember the first time I heard this complete exchange and I wasn't even a fan let alone know who Ghamdi sahib... But this exchange in particular hit home for me because whoever can maintain the decorum and tranquility in face of such animalistic attitude has to have some level of knowledge that should be worth praising.. I could never keep my cool with these two nor would any other Pakistani.. This is the "zarf" of ghamdi sahib.. The prophet and his calaph Abu Bakr Usman Omar Ali had no degrees. It is in this modern world you need degrees. Mr Ghamandi is far more educated and has more knowledge that the religious people who call themself Mufti They will never be able to debate with him. My friend a doctor in Lybia Tripoli shook hands with men as she felt that there is no harm if your ❤️ is clear that was the culture of that country. These people who are harrasing you do not have a religious background they feel they have a degree and that they are always correct. Islam is a beautiful Deen and prohibits us from what is wrong and harmful for us and whatever creates 'Intishaar' in the society. Our Deen permits us unlimited things that are good for us.
The more we get closer to our Deen the more we stay safe, healthy, thankful and satisfied.
The more we try be liberal the more we will be far from our Deen and may cross the limits and boundaries that are set by Allah S.W.T.
According to a Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), I believe it's better not to even go close to the prohibited things because there will be a chance that we may enter in it someday.
Crossing the limits of Allah S.W.T means 'Tabahi' for Dunya and Akhirah.
