Tell me if I'm wrong but I just dont see the purpose of mma "sparring gloves". You cant be hard sparring in 7oz gloves any more than you can with 4oz competition gloves so why own another pair of gloves? The difference between a 7oz sparring glove and a 4oz with a heavy hand wrap will be negligible especially when all you're able to do is light work in the stand up anyway. Except the transition to ground will be easier with the 4oz because of its slimmer profile. Then just have a pair of 16oz gloves for all your hard sparring. You can even cut the thumb stitching so you can somewhat grapple while transitioning straight from a hard spar.
Would love to get your opinion/reviews on the Modest Vintage Player lineup. They've got boxing gloves and MMA gloves. They seem like a virtually unknown company from New Zealand but their gear looks gorgeous.
How do you compare this to the gold puffy Sanabul ones? On another hand I got a size M since I’m in between sizes and realize that my thumb’s knuckle is popping out of the padded section. What’s your opinion on that too? Thanks!
Good question! Most MMA sparring gloves you will find are 7 OZs. Some very thickly padded gloves might be in the 10-12 range but most every MMA sparring glove will be at least 7. Odd number to me but hey its what people do!
When's the yokkao MMA glove review coming? Can't wait! Lol
Just received the Sanabul essentials and was on the line between those and these. Glad you made this review got rid of a lot of FOMO for me. 😂
I have the e series sparing gloves and there shin gards I love them
Love your glove reviews! Ever thought about doing a Cleto Reyes vs Fairtex Bgv9 comparison?
I would do that for sure!

What size did you get and what size would you recommend? I have fairly small hands and wondering if I should get the S/M? Would appreciate your input!
I got L/XL I always put a timestamp that talks about my exact model too for future reference! I would go with S/M then!
I got these as my first mma gloves but the leather is starting to tear up. Should I get combat sport max strike gloves?
do you wear wraps with mma sparring gloves?
What oz mma glove do you recommend sparing in?
Yo diría que la que muestran en el video unas 7oz creo/ I Would say the one in the video 7oz
Sanabul and Fairfex have some super thick mma gloves that are 10 ounce gloves.

@@combat_corp would you recommend sanabul, fairtex, or combat corner 7oz gloves? Also what would be the best for boxing glove sparing
