@@Jeddiefreak so, the answer is yes, potentially...but there are few IF's... IF you are granted a Visitor Visa with no 8503 conditions, and IF you actually qualify to apply for the 820 (you meet the minimum requirements and have enough evidence) then after lodging you may be granted a bridging visa with full work rights... My Spouse is in Australia on PR Me and my child are applying for Partner and child PR Since the waiting time is more for Partner PR can we stay in Australia with my spouse on any other temp visa until our PR comes? Will the temp visa affect our Main visa?
I’m an Australian Citizen and my fiancé is a UK citizen. We plan on getting married asap in Australia and we’re planning on getting an onshore partner visa 820/801. He is currently in the UK and we we wondering if he was to come to Australia on a tourist visa, and we were to get married and then apply for the partner visa, would the bridging visa come into effect? If so, what bridging visa will we most likely get? Would you recommend getting a different visa?

If I come to Australia with visitors visa subclass 600(8101/8201 visa conditions), then I apply for onshore partner visa when my visitor's visa is still valid. Can I apply for bridging visa A as I wait for my partner visa? Does the bridging visa grant me working/ studying rights? NB: am fully eligible for partner visa and would like to get working right as I wait for partner visa
Hi. Thank you for this informative video. I wanted to know whether I will get a Bridging visa (BVA) automatically if I have applied for an offshore partner visa (309) which is currently in process and then I have applied for a visitor visa 600 which has been granted now for 12 months. So, currently I am in Australia on a visitor visa and when that expires and I still haven't been granted the 309, do I have to leave Australia or do I automatically get the BVA? Thank you in advance.
Hi Abhay, this is a matter we feel best discussed in private due to the complexity of your case. Kindly give our office a call at 07 3063 1200 Or directly book a session with our Registered Migration Agent www.freedommigration.com/how-to-book-a-visa-planning-session/
Depending on your case. When I first brought my wife on a holiday visa to Australia during her 309 offshore partner visa process. My wife gave birth to my child in Australia ongoing treatment for my child at the hospital allowed my wife to get a bridging visa to stay an extra 6 months. But it also delayed her partner visa by a few months. It only takes uoto 2 years to get the 309 and a few months later for the permanent subclass 100. But if you submitted your application after the new changes takes affect the temporary subclass visa processing time is now 8 years. . But that won't apply to you if you submit the application earlier
Good day Maam! pls help me I wanna know if The bridging Visa is automatic granted if I apply my partner Visa onshore? Or I need to apply again for Bridging visa after I apply my Partner Visa?
