Very good video. It opened my mind a bit. I'm also strugling with a problem that i dont feel like i deserve to go to such a briliant university especially for masters degeree and getting accepted was just pure luck. Good to know someone is having simmilar battles as me.

it was short, simple and sweet like it should have to be. covering some uncovered points. I'm also planning my MS at Edinburgh in electrical engineering. good going all the best ❤

Loved this vid! I got accepted in a MSc in Ecological Economics at Edinburgh, and I'm really worried about how I'll finance my studies... This made me remember that there is so much more to a master's degree but I'm still worried about weighing too much on my family. In a purely superficial/financial aspect do you think it was worth it? Sorry if it's too personal, but I'm trying to get the full picture before accepting... ✨

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it much. Firstly, congratulations on your offer! Getting a master's degree has definitely been a new and exciting experience for me. I have learned so much not just academically but personally as well. However, it's very important to have an idea about what all jobs are available in the country and whether there are enough opportunities for everyone. I am not sure about the job opportunities in ecological economics but the course definitely sounds very exciting! It's always useful to get in touch with people who have done the course in the past or are currently pursuing (universities usually have information about past or current students on their programme website). Those people will paint a true picture about the programme and various potential jobs. I hope this helps and wish you all the best!

A student has shared their experience of completing the same degree. Maybe worth getting in touch with via LinkedIn or other means? I hope this helps!

How long did it take until you got the offer from the university ?

It varies from university to university but usually the time it takes to make an offer can be between 4-8 weeks- sometimes a bit more!
