@ShamarKemet Husky doesn’t equate to manliness. Yes, husky has adjectives that are usually used for men but it can also mean: *“of a voice or utterance) sounding low-pitched and slightly hoarse.”*

Black Dynamite had black females that kicked ass, didn't it?

Yes? But, Black Dynamite is an affectionate spoof of Blaxploitations. Shaft, Dolomite, Jim Kelly from Enter the Dragon.
Which kinda ties back to what Cree was talking about, cuz even Foxy Love is a spoof on Foxy Brown and Josie and the Pussycats.
Like hyper-exaggerating outliers. I think Harley Quinn’s Catwoman is what they’re going for… Selena in that show looks like how Halle Berry did in the Flintstones.
Which is apropos on a lotta levels Halle _did_ play Catwoman (terrible movie btw, but she fit the role) and the role from the Flintstones movie she’s gone on record saying that she was proud of cuz they wanted “a sexy woman” so her being black wasn’t the reason she got the role.
The point to representing (at least what I’m assuming Cree and Eric are getting at) is be a person, foremost - rather than being seen as a monolith.
Different types and nationalities of people can fill that space but it shouldn’t be the quantifier to getting there.
Sorry if this came off as a lengthy lecture, I just think cartoons and progressivism are interesting things to talk about.

Yeah, DC's version of the Stretch Armstrong character. Sounds pretty corny at that time & still does now. 🤣🤣🤣 Marvel, Stan Lee & Jack Kirby would do the same, but call him Mr. Fantastic, leader of the Fantastic Four.

What do you want? Equality of opportunity or equality of outcome, because you already have the former and you don't need the latyr. You also can't have either if you want both.
