It is a good incentive to bug catching. I have neglected bug catching as well. I find it is a little trickier to catch bugs on switch than it is on PC. But have gotten a few flowers so excited about that. Love your content and tips.❤

Sad that the blue flowers are tied to a rarer bug. Blue is my favorite color. I may buy that one and just slowly grow a garden from the seeds I get from growing them to full bloom. Thanks for the guide!
Proudhorned Stag Beetle isn't as "common" a drop when mining as it used to be, I note; and Duskwing Butterfly is rare for sure. So Auni's shop for me lol. Thanks for this informative video; I'd wondered what happened to the "missing flowers". P.S. I laid out the cutting boards to use as pavers before the update and grass used to grow right through the centre of the boards. Now, since the update, the grass has been tamed. I'm very happy about that.

Update: Flowers do count towards the overall decor limit, but additionally have their own limit, too.
Also, they give seeds after they’ve grown to their full capacity! I think only a few times - but it’s still nice!

There is a limit of 500 I believe but there is also an overall item limit on your plot too.
