Thanks for the refresher course. I'm an old Vietnam Airborne Infantryman retired 1SG. Tour in Nam. The instruction was designed for young trainees. After 8 or 10 setups you do things instinctually in the field. The training instruction is supposed to make it where an idiot can comprehend it.
NLT 1000 actions on for ambush. Ok well, late arrival, we got 10min to ETA of PAX. Soldier: "Sir, I do not have sufficient time to place the claymore". Ridiculous, after EIB no one does this :D

Isn’t it dangerous leaving yr initiating point cable under no watch? Having yr mine with blasting cap 😢
i thought it was blasting cap and claymore set up 1st, wouldn't leaving your end that gos to the clacker behind you a safety hazard........
