Selecting grids can be slow using tab. I find changing to wire frame allows you to select grids more quickly. Other option- select mullions and panels and switch off temporarily leaving just wall and grids visible.
Thx Jeff , We are grateful EVRY TIME you share with us these life saving tips and tricks, PLEASE continue and don't stop.. BTW / Autodesk should pay you honestly , you and Balkan (Just saying).
@@TheRevitKid Been a long time since our rooftile colaboration. :) I'm still updating EnjoyRevit (not very frequently) and they are mostly about Dynamo. Someone like you inspires me to continue EnjoyRevit. Thanks.
Question: if there a workaround when you replacing existing glass pane with a door other than Curtain wall inside curtain wall. revit Does not allow you to have elements in different phases which is a limitation
I've started to use curtain walls instead of railings (which I find mostly hopeless unless it's for stairs which is slightly less hopeless). The only thing that sucks is scheduling and having to make dummy tags for curtain walls when scheduling them as doors/windows and also having to elevate each one. What also suck is isolating curtain walls in view. Usually you need to pick up all parts for them to show up which no one has time for as no other type category does this.
It’s a clever idea but I would advise against it for the reasons you mentioned and more. Railings can be frustrating but they are pretty good at being railings … study up on them and give them another try!!

Can you have a session on rebar modelling in revit. It takes a lot of time. Please share some tips and tricks regarding it.
Cheers! I actually enjoy Rebar in Revit! I will put it on my list of topics moving forward!

Are you saying, when you use a curtain panel door and how you phase it within the curtain wall?
